| hey guys, I recently noticed my fuel pump no longer makes its "clicking noise" after shutdown. You know the noise that last for 1-2 seconds, thinks its the pump purging itself. Well mine no longer makes the noise. Any suggestions? about to go bad? thanks |

| If the clicking noise you're referring to is the one that happens 5-10 secs after you shut the bike off it is not the fuel pump. That is the Idle Air Control valve calibrating itself. If its not clicking anymore than it needs to be checked.

The clicking noise after you shut the engine off is NOT the fuel pump. It is the throttle position sensor/idle air control finding "home" |
