I did a search and found a couple threads but not much. I have a 2008 Super Steel Gray and I am thinking about painting the center counsel and the upper fairing piece. I kinda like the Aluminum around the engine so I might not touch that.... Anyhow so far I am thinking about just painting those parts the same color as the the base bike SSG.....

So what have you all done?

I want some ideas.

The longer I have this MC the more I like it.

Cedar, Michigan		I also have a SSG 2008. This winter I'm taking off all the brushed aluminum parts and powder coating them gloss black.

Iowa		I used a sandstone color with my black 09 Vision. I got the idea while sitting at a stop light and a Ford F150 went through the intersection. I liked how it looked. I went to a Ford dealer and got the sandstone color and had the brushed pieces done.

Salinas, Ca.		Here is a pic of my bike. Used to be SSG. I began wanting to just paint the brushed aluminum, but after all the work involved I finished taking it apart and got her all done. I was gonna paint the aluminum pieces a dark smokey gray to offset the SSG.
