Posts: 294 rhode island | the dealer needs to take a couple of pictures and submit them, with any luck
should be getting dimpleless covers soon. dealer said there was about 800 units
affected. this seems to be a silent recall. Owners need to complain to recieve action. |

Posts: 136 CALGARY ALBERTA | What is the last four digits of your serial number? So we are to assume that the first 800 are affected?

Posts: 562 SC, Bluffton | My saddlebag demples add charactor. I'm keeping them unless I get offered a left replacement
that closes more easily like the right side. |

Posts: 57 Twin Cities, MN | I just had the right side replaced. I have the Midnight Cherry and it's a perfect match. The fit and closure is better too. I also received a new windsheild. The left side still sucks! (fit and closure) I'm right here on Polaris home turf. My dealer also works on most of the Polaris exec's bikes, sleds and other toys. The word is they know about the complaints. "It's not falling on deaf ears" was the quote... It's still the best ride on the road! |

Posts: 1324 So Cal | My bags fit great, its the dimples that bug me. Depending on the temp. they are more noticable at times.
Having a black bike, I would rather they authorize a repair rather that replacement since they fit really good.
Who knows how the replacements might fit? |

Posts: 294 rhode island | I'm doing the fitting myself, I don't trust the dealer to take as much time with fitting as me.
Also last time i was in there they got grease on the aluminium, very tough getting off. |
