Let me start off by saying that this bike is the best thing since sliced bread!! I am having a few quirky problems that will need to be addressed. First is the same problem that many of you are having with the left side bag not closing correctly. The second seems not as common, my cruise control seems to "hunt" a lot. Here is the scenario.. I set the cruise at 70mph, slowly let off of the throttle and the speed drops to about 66mph before the cruise takes over and brings up back up to 70. It stays there for about 30 seconds and then drops to about 68mph then surges hard to about 72mph then lets off back to 70 and repeats the cycle. All of this happens on level road with very little to no winds. I know that the 1800 Goldwings had a similar problem and they just had to adjust a potentiometer to fix theirs. Had anyone else had this problem or know of a fix? I am taking it to the dealer this week to get the 1st service done and am going to ask them to fix these little things. But other than that this thing rocks and draws a crowd like nothing I have ever seen everywhere it goes.

close to 13k and my cruise works like the well tuned machine it is.
holds within 1 mph up or down hill According to Victory you should be varying the load on the throttle during break-in constantly changing the throttle settings in all the gears.
My first week after break-in I did 500 miles service and did close to 2K miles up to Deals Gap and around over a one week period... perfect break-in...

My bike has around 800 miles on it and it is doing the same thing. If set above 70 mph it hunts around 3 or 4 mhp almost constantly. i am planning on discussing it with my dealer some time this week.

I have 650 on mine, and the cruise isn't a problem.

The heated seats are a bit quirky - I think the switches are reversed - and I had them come on after I hit a rough patch of road. The bike is in for it's first service as we speak and I'm pretty sure they will find it is just a loose connection.

Other than that, no problems.

But man-o-man, I LOVE this bike! And I knew everyone told me it would draw a crowd, but really - I had no idea! Stopped at a rest area along I-90 on Friday. It took me almost 45 minutes to get away! The bike drew a crowd alright, and everyone wanted to ask question.

The other thing I love is the way the mirrors act as hand shields. It is the first time, (except in the middle of summer), that my hands have been really comfortable. We were up in the mountains with lots of snow and about 43 degrees and my hands were toasty, and that's without using the heated grips.

Did I mention I LOVE this bike?

I have considered printing out a flier with a FAQ to hand out when I get slammed with questions. Now that I think about it Victory should include a small device that you can install on the inside of the trunk to hold fliers about the bike...
