| I brought this subject up to several Harley friends. A few were willing to look at a Victory after I told them about Harleys domestic content. Most either didn't believe me or didn't care. I just shook my head. |

| Be careful of what you assume about domestic content, I got one hell of a surprise when I purchased a take off set of 2010 Vision rims off of ebay. Since they had no tires on them I could clearly see the "MADE IN CHINA" cast into the portion of the rim that the tires cover. We already know that the Vision uses Nissin (Japanese) brakes and Showa (Japanese, partly owned by Honda) forks. I know that most of the electronics on our Vision are made here in the U.S. though, that is one consolation. |

Sort of a David and Goliath stand off for 100 years. These aren't the same Chinese that want to destroy our economy over here. |

After years of listening to all the "buy American" from the HD faithful, I find this ironic. |

I just love to roust DODGE and FORD and van owners with big 'BUY AMERICAN' vynil window stickers about driving 'foreign built' vehicles. They insist the van is American made then I ask them to read the 'point of assembly' decal on the door post 'OH... Ontario Canada' same with street punks who don't like to be shown their Volkswagen is 'Hecho in Mexico' |
