Posts: 277 Apopka, FL | For those with the Victory CB unit, or for those who would buy it if it were $300 vs $600. Do you find it useful? a waste? What do you like? Dislike? Anything else needed besides an antenna?

Posts: 307 Columbia, SC | Don't forget you ALSO need the wiring harness. So add a couple of hundreds on there. The vision is a nice bike, but the accessories for it are so damned expensive. It's a good bike, but good lord, $400 for a luggage rack?! about 1000 dollars for a CB intercom kit?!?! 1500 for a reverse gear?!!??!?!
Crazy. Just crazy. Buy yourself a J&M CB system for $400. You can transfer it to another bike in the future, and it works just fine. |

Posts: 446 East TN | The CB on the Vision for me was well worth the money! My wife has a CB on her Can-Am Spyder so we can talk as we ride, no more silly hand gestures and tryign to figure out what the HELL she means...Riding in groups of Victory's several others have CBs so we can tell each other whats going on and while travelling I can talk to truck to get ideas on the weather ahead, COPS, and traffic info...Well worth th emoney!! |

The ONLY reason I bought mine is for the intercom and music through the helmet. |

Posts: 88 Lavon, TX | I use mine extensively to communicate with my wife - we put a J&M CB on the handlebar of her Vegas Low, along with a SanDisk Sansa Clip+ MP3 player w/FM tuner and SlotRadio card. I also have the XM radio and an iPod Nano on my bike. Now, we both have communication and music available through the helmet (J&M Elite Series headsets). Prior to her getting her own bike, we enjoyed the VOX-controlled intercom when riding two-up. Expensive, but essential. |

Posts: 423 northwest florida | I bought a sena SMH10 bluetooth headsets for the wife and I. Very happy with them. Mine is paired to my phone & her's to her phone and they are paired to the mp3 player.
My brother has the same model. He and I rode around TN and they worked pretty well within a couple hundred yards. |

Posts: 130 Houston, Tx | Yup.... paid the toll to have (a) better communication with the wife instead of her beating on my head and screaming in my ear, (b) music to the helmets via J&M speakers (even though I wish they were better - still need regular speakers playing to sound okay IMO) and (c) to talk to chapter members while on rides - one in front / back / middle to keep tabs on how everything is going.
I felt it was a VERY expensive upgrade and still not sure of it's overall value, but since the Vision can handle it and I plan on keeping it awhile...thought why not. In addition to the parts, labor install...I also paid to get helmets (never had before this) and the in-helmet speakers from J&M. Yeah...tally up my total bill in your head and it's quite astonishing!

Posts: 495 Carrollton, TX | The Vision CB is awesome. It works better than any of the CB radios on other touring bikes I have ridden. The price is about the same as with any other manufacture. The value of having it fully integrated with all the other electronics is pricless and having a CB on a trip is pricless. Almost everyone I ride with has a CB and they all would not part with it. Being able to communicate with everyone on a trip is huge. Another vaule of the CB is that you can communicate with truckers and many others when you need information or help. While there are technologies they are limited to the number of people you can communicate with. Most Bluetooth devices are limited to 3 or 4 paired users and there is no limit with a CB. If you plan to only travel with one of two people the Bluetooth solutions will work as long as you are pretty close together. |

Posts: 131 Edmond, OK 2012 Vision, 2012 Cross Country | It should be standard equipment and of better quality. Victory is trying to compete with HD and it id a standard option and they work a lot better than the one I have on my 2011 and it sucks the only good thing is the intercom. The one I have you can't hear or transmit unless you are at a light waiting on it to change. So far just a waste of money. |

You need to get the dealer to look at it. Something's wrong with yours. Mine works at ranges measured in miles.
