I think the Vision has one of the largest ranges in comfort. From the Shortest to the Tallest rider, how do you feel the bike fits you compared to other bikes you have ridden.

Post your height , inseam, armlength or whatever you feel important and any mods you needed because of your size.

I looked at every tour bike out there before I bought my Vision. Hands down the best. In my opinion. I do have the 2 inch forward bars.

I've added the Utopia Back rest and wind deflectors, and have NEVER sat on a more comfortable motorcycle.

Folks walk up & ask how do you like the Vision? My response is always....I don't like it, I love it.

My better half, while really liking the ride....says that VV is my mistress!

5'4" here. Very comfortable. I think EVERY bike, car, etc. can use tweaks, but this one does not need many at all. I'm thinking a backrest that pushes me about an inch or two forwards would be all I need here to get it right.

I've added the Utopia Back rest and wind deflectors for comfort. Been riding with a back rest on every bike I have owned since 2002. I had one on my 1978 KZ 650 back in the day. Talked with a guy for a LONG time yesterday that is looking to buy a touring bike. Local dealer should be paying me for the way I talk about this wonderful bike.

I am 5'9" with short inseam...Just added the 1"lower Vision -ball seat...No chance to ride it yet due to weather but reports from others say it is very comfortable and helps put both feet down at stops..Have really no issues with comfort of stock seat, just want to set a little lower....Maybe more secure in my head, but we will see.....

I rode a HD for 23 years, always felt a bit cramped.  I would always extend my controls, change bars, etc.

In 2003 I made a change to a BMW K1200LT.  Love the performace of the bike, but WHO, it was even more cramped than the HD.  Don;t think the German's made the bike for us tall USA riders!

December of last year (2010) I had a Vision...  I love that it offers many of the features I loved about the BMW and it got me back on a US made bike.

10 months and 12K miles I am still loving the Vision!

As I've said before, I can splay out like a teenager on the telephone at 6'2". Too bad you didn't add an "ecstatic" category. Makes the Ultra feel like sitting on a kids tricycle.

6'4" with a long torso and short (for my size -32) legs.
After having a spinal fusion (L5-S1), I could barely ride my HD Ultra for mor than 2-3hrs at a time. With the Ness Vision, I can go all day. Now I find myself planning IBA rides again. If the kids aren't too needy next week, I will be heading out on a Border 2 Border in 24hrs run, and in May I will be going for 49 states in 10 days (8290 mi.).
I did by a backrest, but don't use it. The Ness seat is plenty deep, and when I get monkeybutt, I can sit partially on the back seat for a little way.
I also bought Hwy pegs and the adjustable lowers for air managment on my legs. More of a heat/cold comfort issue rather than a positional comfort issue. The hwy pegs actually stress my knee surgery a little, so I don't use them for very long.
I go back and forth between the Ness windshield in the summer and the 18" OEM windshield in the winter. The OEM just catches the top of my helmet when it is up, but I would miss the wind in my face with a taller one when it's down (winters here mean 60-80F degrees).

I made this poster about two years ago.  Perfect analogy.

6'7", 38" inleg and my 2011 Vision is the most comfortable ride I've ever had. The next closest was a Rocket Touring.

I've got the 2" shorter bars, the tall screen, the Arizona Victory front wing bracket/ highway pegs, foot controls set to front hole. The seat is perfect, and is the only stock seat I've kept for more than the first month, although it's compressing now with my 280lbs, which means a new heavier duty foam upgrade.

My only two major wishlist items would be an optional larger brake pedal as it's hard to find the piddly little stock thing with the size 14s, and more vertical adjustment in the mirrors so I can actually use them

Oh....and a quick release trunk like the XC would really complete the package.. not comfort related, I know, but......

Have you ever noticed that every time there is a poll on this site that the data is a bell curve? Now I'm not intrinsically opposed to the occasional bell curve but couldn't we, just once in a while, have a colorful pie chart?

Just kidding; I was channeling Andy Rooney for a moment.

5'7" with a 30" inseam. I'm ok with not lowering the bike, but I do wish I could get handlebars that came back toward me about an inch or two, or a seat mod that pushes me an inch or two forward. It's fine on open road when I've got the cruise on, right hand relaxin', left fingertips suggesting minor course corrections to my intuitive machine, but both hands grippin' the grips for long periods gets a bit uncomfortable.

StanLaurel...I have talked to a guy named Mike 520-301-4000 or hmd520@yahoo.com. He has a company in Arizona that modifies and makes great seats for the Vision..He can take your old seat and modify it to move you backward/forward etc...You might try this as a idea.......

Added the Utopia (short) backrest. Pretty comfortable, but I think the stock seat could use some improvement... needs to be slightly wider and somewhat more supportive for ultra long range trips, similar to the Mustrang seat I had on my KP. My old sheepskin cover helps, although it isn't specific to the Vision, and I'm told that those beaded seat covers are awesome in hot weather!

I have yet to attain a thousand mile day on this bike.... although having only had it for 2 months, I've got almost 7,500 miles on it.

I'm 6'-4" and the Vision is absolutely the most comfortable touring bike I have ridden, and that includes several model Harleys (I still own a Road King), Goldwing and BMW.
