It is an odd looking bike.... Sportbike tank, harley rear fender, Aftermarket tail light, and turn signals, also hasa headlight from a Russian radar truck that I got in Iraq!!! Used to be a 1984 Honda Shadow VT700. That thing will wheelie!!!! Can you believe that???? Well, anyways...enjoy!------Metalguy

O fcourse, it is a constant work in progress....so it will likely change, over, and over...I think a sportbike seat will be modded to fit next, as the OLD leather one is not too good....-----Metalguy

Is that a custom dent in the fuel tank, or was it made like that?

Love the custom saddlebags and the cool horn.

Nice ride metalguy. A little duct tape will fix that seat right up, I wouldnt change it! I like the frontal backrest.

And for some reason you thought you needed a Vision when you have this in your stable!!!!! I'll bet you got the battery tender on the Vision.

I love it!!!! That is too cool!!!! Thank you for putting pics up. I have been dying to see it!!!! (I gotta pass this on to a friend of mine who works at a build shop here in Savannah. They build all sorts of rat bikes, but I don't think that they have hit mailboxes yet!!!)

Those aren't mailboxes.  They're U.S. Maleboxes. The story behind the headlight is too cool.

Thank you all. The bike is a source of amusement for me, and I am suprized when I ride it the kind of positive reactions I get. The headlight is way cool, and I picked it up specifically to use on this bike. I also aquired some kilometer guages from a Russian vehicle to use for the speedo. The maleboxes were an inspiration just so I could carry stuff. I had seen the "norms" folks use on rat bikes, like ammo boxes, and the like. I have access to those, but they are WAY heavy. Besides, these were like 6 bux at Lowes. If anyone wants to see some of my Iraq pics, let me know, and I will send some on. It is a whole different world over there.-----Metalguy
