| Replaced my stock seat today with the lower seat from the 8-ball model. What a huge difference this makes for me in low speed handling and stops. Both feet firm on ground is great especially when backing down my inclined driveway..Bike feels much less intimidating for me and seems to handle better etc.....Have not ridden many miles yet, but so far the best buck I have spent on modifications....Also really like the higher rear back support and general feel of the 1" lower seat. So far so good......... |

Posts: 28 Southern Va./2011 Vision silver | Im thinking about getting an 8ball seat for my 2011 Vision tour for the same reasons you stated. I know its not heated but having a warm ass isnt all that important to me. I dont understand why they didnt make the 8ball with cruise. |

| The seat I bought was new from the dealer..$300.. It is not heated and I don't care as I never use it...Yes you can probably find a used/new on e-bay for less money but I am fat and happy...Yes, I am a little short on inseam 29" barely...but as I said well worth the money to me...BTW I have several offers to buy my stock seat,so new one will end up costing me only a few bucks if I decide to sell it...... |
