Hello everyone and installed in my 2008 victory vision of lighted trunk emblem on the website indicates that Polaris is only valid for the vision 2012. As for information of all owners of the vision will also usually be installed on models 2008 onwards. a greeting, and I am writing this from Spain

I have the lighted Victory Trunk badge on my 2011 I had it and a Tri-star XP module added now my trunk lights are marker, signal and brake lights the Red Victory only lights up when I hit the brakes.

I love this mod Polaris should be doing it

Hello Adolfo, I'm glad to see you installed the lighted Victory chrome trim on the tour pack. I did the same thing and it looks great. I also added red LED's to the tour pack lid while I had it apart and routed the wires along the wiring loom on the right side. They are tied in to the brake lights and help wake up people behind me when I stop or slow down. Hope things in Spain are beginning to improve.

It is added to the trunk wire harness under the seat it allows the trunk marker lights to act as turn signals, marker lights and brake lights.

The Victory Trunk Badge can then be a brake light as well ,it will only light up when brakes are used.

I just ordered my lighted Victory Trunk trim piece yesterday. I don't have the Tri-Star but do have the similar Kuryakyn 4710 Run/Turn/Brake Modulator hooked upto the Trunk lights. Has anyone tied this lighted trunk badge into the Kuryakyn 4710? If so:
1) Does it stay lit as a running light?
2) Does it activate as a brake light with the three pulses?
3) Does it blink when a turn signal is on, or stay lit as a running light when the signal is on?

I plan to tie mine into the 4710 module but not sure how it will act.
Thanks!

I personally like my VICTORY lighted up all the time. My 99 LEDs mounted under lip of trunk lid give me obscene amounts of braking lights

I almost put the Kuryakyn on my 08 but read that people were having cruise control issues. The Tri-Star XP does not cause the pulsing that seems to mess with the Victory electronics,

My cruise control on my 2011 is unaffected by the Tri-star

I have mine on order and I am just waiting for it to arrive. I plan to have it just be on all the time for now. I think I will consider a module later if it allows the badge to remain illuminated.

I know that some have had cruise-control issues with using LEDs replacement bulbs for the stock bulbs, but I didn't know about issues when using the Kuryakn module. At least, I know I have not had any cruise-control issues.

Thanks for the input though.

Mine arrived today and took the 45 minutes they said it would to install it. Of course this did include the time it takes to read the directions first and take my picture at the end. It looks better than this poor picture shows. Super cool.

Installed mine today. If you have the trunk mirror installed, no way it'll take only 45 min. Anyone planning on adding a mirror to you vision, use velcro or hinges (as someone suggested). This is the third time I've had to remove mine. (trunk rack, 4710 controller, lighted emblem) I am going to have a glass shop cut me a new one. The reflective film on the back was damaged by the fishing line.

The fitment isn't that great as mentioned earlier. The emblem doesn't have enough curvature so be careful when attaching the three screws. You have to bend it to install one of the end screws. The area below the "T" slopes inward and does not align vertically with the bottom part of the trunk. Guess that's why it was only $99.

Put the mirror on small hinges when replaced...secure it with a single screw at the top.

This is the Vision illuminated trunk trim piece that Polaris offers. I have mounted a strip of red LED's below it to augment the tail lights.
