Is there a product out there that my wife can put her feet up and forward once we're rolling? I've seen a peg on a stem that rotates forward on Harleys but I haven't seen anything for other bikes.

Doesn't anyone search anymore? jb.hatch has some He's here on the site. I have his hiway pegs and love them. I know he makes them for passengers as well. Here's a link but no pics. He has several pics somewhere on this site. Just ask him or do a search.

Well to be honest there isn't a whole lot of info in that thread, no contact info, website info or pictures of the product so it's really not that helpful. It's a valid question and i'd like to know more as well. Like does anyone have anything commercially available from a large vendor like Kuryaken or something like that. I had transformer boards on my GoldWing's and the Wife loved them, would love to have those again but for the Vision or something close to that, that isn't an eyesore.

Ok, PhantomX........since I'm feeling kindly today and you and jimtom are apparently just too lazy to type "passenger pegs" into the search box and hit the return key here is the link to jb's thread on passenger pegs that includes pics. A ton of them. To my knowledge no one else makes them. But then you could do a google search. Oh, wait, that would require typing "passenger pegs" into a search box!!! Never mind.

Well technically I guess you could really find anything you wanted by simply going to google and "typing" so really I guess there is no need to consolidate and share information with others on a forum cause hey you can just type what you want and find the answers...

Now you got it Phantom!!!! Well almost. I used the search box on this site to get you your pics. And suggested google for other options. But your so busy trying to avoid the search box anywhere you keep missing the good stuff! You see there's a little search box for just this website. It's in the upper left corner. It says "SEARCH" That way, instead of thousands of people asking questions already answered here on this forum you can find it by SEARCHING! AMAZING, HUH? And it's way easier than the 100 words you have already typed to avoid searching this site. And when you don't find the answer here, google sometimes helps. And sometimes, google even refers you to a page in this site. It's really magical!! Then when all else fails, ask away~!!

If you are searching for something other than Jb.hatch passenger pegs, you can search till your fingers drop off, you won't find anything. The nice thing about forums are that you can also find out what information is NOT out there, just by asking those that have come before you.
I have the jb.hatch ones and they work great, not really a peg, just a mounting point that you can attach any manufacturers peg you want to it.

First , let me say , I was not trying to avoid the search. I simply didn't think to search before I did the unthinkable and ask my fellow members. I had a question and I asked it on a forum where information is shared for the good of it's members. Some of us have made it clear that they REALLY don't want to be bothered with questions (on a forum, one of it's primary functions, irony). I hope we don't treat potential new members this way. If I have the information one seeks , I promise not to scorn the inquisitive party . I love helping people when I can, by the way , it's what we're put on this earth for and I can do it with tact , and with a humble and welcoming spirit. JB, no need to post pics. I was steered in the right direction by helpful and neighborly members on this site and the VMC. I am interested in a set of them, they are exactly what I am looking for. I did apologize to the first poster scolding me for not searching. If a one does not want to be personally helpful, why even reply. Leave it to those who want to. Using the search function is a good suggestion. It could have been suggested in a positive way. I will try to use it first in the future.

jimtom - 2012-07-10 9:25 AM Is there a product out there that my wife can put her feet up and forward once we're rolling?...

Hi Jim,  Like Darrell (Nozzledog ) said  "I have the jb.hatch ones and they work great, not really a peg, just a mounting point that you can attach any manufacturers peg you want to it."

I have installed the jb.hatch passenger peg mount brackets, attached the Kuryakyn Offset Peg Mounts and attached the Kuryakyn 8002 ISO Large Male Mount PegsThere are other peg mount options.

With my set-up, when standing up, I have a minor inconvenience of the passenger peg touching the backside of my leg behind my knee. I'm still able to balance the bike fine with my wife getting on or off.  On the plus side, I noticed if you are late to pick your leg up from a stop and then proceed to make a slow turn, the backside of your leg will touch the passenger peg. You will then pick up your leg before your foot has a chance to get caught/sandwiched between the rear tip over and the road.

You need to drill a hole into your rear tip over protectors to secure the jb,hatch passenger peg mount brackets.

BTW ... JB.Hatch did quality work on making the pair of black powder-coated passenger peg mount brackets that I purchased.

Plus my wife had a BIG smile when she was able to stretch out her legs ;-)

I also added the JB mounts to my bike and my wife loves it.  I did a slightly different setup in that I used the Kuryakyn offset mounts along with their dully pegs.  This allows you to rotate the dully pegs to a comfortable position for the passenger.  Also with the pegs folded up they really don't get in the my way when stopping or backing.  You can stop and back with the pegs down, but it is much easier with them up.

I've attached a few pics to show the set up along with how my wife now has different leg positions which keeps her knees from cramping up on her.

Well the pics didn't show...let me try again

If it's such an inconvenience to reply with an answer, why do some feel the need to respond with multiple posts scolding the OP? I thought I was on The VMC for a second....let's not try to mimic that atmosphere here.

Nicely put, I enjoy hearing the forums different ideas and suggestions. It is pretty easy to hide behind a keyboard.
