I rolled my 7th anniversary today (and Luke, whereever you are, give us an update) with 169,508 on the clock. The best I can see is that I put 19,000 on the bike this past year, and I believe it was due to weather. It was more due to the fact I had several weeks working 3 mile from my house, refusing to start the bike in such extreme cold for such a short distance. I've still averaged over 24,000 miles a year on the bike since rolling off the lot that great day in 2007. While I may be a high-roller, I do know of one guy, original owner of a 2009 Vision, that has far exceeded me in yearly average, but he still has not reached my total miles yet. I would suspect if he got it out of the shop today, he would roll past me before the end of the year.

A most definite BIG congratulations to you; Varyder. it's nice to know that you are proving the Vision to be long lasting; for the rest of us... lol!

As far as those short trips.. I suffer from those too.. since I work from home now. My bikes don't get as much use as they used to... at least 104 miles daily on them; for the ride back and forth to work; when I worked in the office.

So... if you have to take a short trip somewhere... just take the long way around to it.

Congrats on the anniversary. Hope you bought some fresh oil and wax for Bentley to celebrate. Starting to see several mentions of some impressive odometer readings. I never expect to catch up, but still enjoyed every one of the 60K miles that I've driven in the past 5+ years.

Thanks for the update. Any major mechanical issues you can share with us or just routine maintenance?

Congrats on the mileage. I hope to still be riding Astro in 7 years unless they do a redesign that trips my trigger. Then I may have both a new and an old one.

Congrats! A great American story!

Side note: I made note of your mileage when I was researching information about Victory's before I purchased my new Vision last March.

I'm still happy, happy, happy!

Congratulations. Even if I maintain my present average I will only be around 90k by year 7.

I'll hit year 7 on 12/11/2014 and will only have 86k. Changed 1 stator, my fault, 1 fuel pump, 2 radios, 1 pair of heated grips, 2 left aux radio control pods all under warranty, and 2 seats, 2 front half front fenders. Still with those few hiccups and consumable parts/maintainance I have put more miles on this motorcycle than all others even my 2000 V92SC that drown in my driveway in Katrina. VaRyder congrats and you are still the VV owner ,as for as miles ridden on a VV, I hope to emulate.

Thanks, all. I'm due an oil change and need a front tire. But not bad, only have had to replace the voltage regulator and fuel pump under warranty. I've had to redo my steering bearing once, and made my own fix for the front finder. Not much else I can think about. I took my trunk off, and enjoy the bike more, but the latch was getting bad on my just the same. I hope to bust 200,000 next year.

Made 4 years to on my Vision today, but did not ride it to my sister's house as planned. The protest that shut down the connector in Atlanta Tuesday nite made me decide to take my truck and miss a beautiful ride. Traffic I can handle, but not knowing if a demonstration might be going on to disrupt holiday travel I did not want to risk my safety. I have rolled up 76k miles so far and love the bike more than when I got it.

Not bad. If you changed tires at 1500 that would only be 226 tires not bad at tall
