It means 2 things to me. You ride a lot and you ride in the rain.

"It means 2 things to me. You ride a lot and you ride in the rain." Cold rain.

Grats on the miles.

That's cool, and I see 37 degrees with rain, no keeping you off the bike!

I think your tires are cold and don't grip good. All so if the starter kicks back on you your going to have to rebuild it

You are washing your bike on a cold day?

Oh and nice mileage on the odometer.

congrats. when IU grow up I want to be like you and Varyder. Those GW boys laughed when I showed up on my VV and wanted to compare it to a Yugo as it relates to reliability. Your picture is worth a thousand words so I do plan to use it. BTW there aren't many GW's in the groups I ride with that have that kind of mileage on bikes twice your bikes age.

I guestimated you'd have 250 on it by now, but I guess 171 is still okay. Cool.

Wow 171 thousand plus, that is amazing mileage on a motorcycle! I'm sure many of us would love to hear what repairs or parts replacements were needed to get to that level. Congratulations!

Most of the serious stuff I had replaced under warranty, thankfully. Now it's just oil and tires, mufflers and pipes, and batteries. As long as she runs, I'm riding. I'm still on the original wheel bearings!

Chris, I could swear that I responded to this - guess not. Yeah, I recognize the #'s but it took me a minute to figure out that it's in military date form.

I think you responded over at the VMC. This was the final combination of numbers that would match the dates.

I work way too much. I am the original owner of a 2008 Vision and just passed 26,000 miles.

As someone who lived on the road and out of a camper behind my bike full time for 8 years, let me say NOW yer talkin'...that's what bikes are for and it looks like you're doing a good job. And I personally enjoy riding in the rain as long as it's warm out. Now if we could just outlaw anything with more than 2 tires off the road when it's raining.....

I've had a slow start for the new year, almost February was a bust, and the past week I have been sick. Tomorrow is a ride day...
