Hi all,
I just joined and will be taking delivery of a 2014 vision tomorrow.

I have been searching for a luggage rack other than the $400 overpriced oem version, but there does not seem to be any other choice.

Any advice?

Thx!

All of them; even from the after market vendors, are very expensive.

Thx Willtill, I pretty much surmised that. The Victory world is starkly different from the Harley world.

Welcome Ahhnuld. An ex HD owner. The joke was HD stood for hundred dollars. Now being a VISION owner. I made the joke to a couple of friends that the "V" in Victory, stands for FIVE HUNDRED Dollars. Be careful what you buy. I have purchase something from an after market vendor. 500.00 bucks and it was SHIT. Welds were shity looking, and not cleaned up, leather wasn't trimmed well. It looked like a 5yr. old made it. We own what I call a, mainstream 1off motorcycle. If you can't make it,you have to buy it. And if your buying your paying. LOVE,LOVE,LOVE my Vision. NEVER HAVE I RIDEN ANYTHING BETTER AS FOR COMFORT. But venders are far and few between. I will say, I've had nothing but good luck with Llyoyd's.!!!!!!!!!

Do a search here for past post on the topic. There are been a few members who used universal or goldwing racks and were pleased with the result for less than 2 bills.

Do a search on E-bay, got my OEM there for 250.00, not as bad as buying from Victory.

Ride safe!

Thanks everyone, I think I will go ahead and just get the Victory version with bag. I need the space and a sure thing instead of a gamble.

Got the bike this evening and have been riding around to start the break in miles. I also have a Harley and love it as much as I am finding that I enjoy this bike. I look forward to sharing my experiences and learning from you all.

I made mounting brackets for my storage box that I can also use for a luggage rack. Made of steel and very strong!! Powder coated black.

I would like to add WITCHDOCTORS to that list. everything i have received from them is top notch and the customer service is excellent. As an owner of a '85-k100rt and '99-k1200lt the Vision is easier to handle with a much lower center of gravity. Welcome to the club!!
