The directions for the Victory mount says there should be a pre-wired GPS hookup between the right fuel tank and frame. I was unable to find it. Does anyone know more specifically where it is? Thanks.

That is where mine was. Mine comes out on the right side of the console.

It may be tucked under the center console, or just hanging. Use your fingers and fiddle around to see if it will drop down before you start unbolting stuff. This is what it looks like. . .

I have searched all over but can't find it. I do see something that is in about the right place but is hooked up to my CB. It was installed by my dealer. But he swears there is CB wiring there as well as GPS wiring, and that he hooked up to the right one. Can anyone tell me how many wires go to the connection and what the colors are. This way I can see if he hooked the CB up to the GPS (if that is even possible). Thanks. Otherwise I am at a loss. Thanks.

Did you remove the console? its probably tucked up under it to keep it from dangling. You have to remove the speedometer and dial bezel to get to the front bolts then just one at the bottom of the console. its not hard to do. i just think they must have tucked it under some other console wires.

I found it under a large wiring loom. The GPS works great. But I have to choose between the GPS and my Ipod. I was going to just download my songs onto the GPS. But I-tunes says I have too many devices to do that. Is there another solution? Thanks.

On an '08 the I-pod should be in the 'glove box' on the left side, clutch side. The GPS is under the 'flare' on the right side just with-in reach of your fingers. Both the I-pod and GPS will operate at the same time.

The GPS will partially work if it is connected to the left connector, no sound, and the turn by turn sound will not work anymore even if it has been relocated to the correct location.

The GPS works fine now. But on my '11 VV it seems I have to choose to have either the GPS or the I-pod go through the headset. Hopefully sometime this week I will try to play around with it a bit more.
