| i have 4 differant vics i just bought a 2014 vision everything i look at (covers lighted victory trunk) says will not fit 2014 . the half cover does fit any ideal why mamma vic says it will not fit in cataloge |

Loveland, CO United States | Simple, they know how to build motorcycles, but not shopping carts. I had been looking at the travel covers, but got the same message. With your note, I guess I can feel confident to buy one. Try selecting a service manual. Boy, that is a pain and still haven't found it. It's simply amazing that they can fund two racing bikes this year, but have such a lousy parts and accessories site. Priorities! |

Try selecting a service manual. Boy, that is a pain and still haven't found it.
I ordered a Service Manual for my 14 from a dealer. It is for 12-14 models. Looks like it is the same manual from years past with a new cover on it. The part number for the manual is 2027432. |

Eagan, MN United States | catalog and website suck. If it fits any Vision, it fits yours basically. Do a search for a 13 Vision instead, if it fits a 12-15 it will fit your 14.There are some exceptions like the early (08-09?) Visions had different handlbars but there are very few exceptions. |

Pittsburgh, PA | I have engine covers that are victorys. And they said on their site doesn't fit 2011 vision .... well they have no clue.. cause it fits. |

| I noticed the same thing when I bought a 2014 early this year. I have come to look at buying a Victory, especially a Vision as being like buying a kit bike. In the sense that Victory pulls the whole picture together to the point of maybe 80-85%. In the other 15% I include:
1. Things that would have been logical about the product that never were addressed
2. Things that should be right that you are going to have to deal with on your own if it is going to be taken care of
3. Completely incorrect / clueless information from the manufacturer about the product (such as the incorrect "fits" info from Victory)
4. General insufficient support attitude
5. Very poor fit and finish, especially paint quality - both in application and chemistry
I find it sad because I do consider the Victory a superior piece of engineering and core design. It would be so easy for them to truly stand out and above so much more than they do, but instead they repeatedly just don't get all the pieces in place to pull the whole thing off. |
