This was over on Facebook. Thats all I know

For all you Vision owners out there I heard that Victory has issued a service bulletin on the Vision front fender. Victory has developed a support kit to prevent the fenders from cracking and are paying to have them installed on all 2008-2015 visions, they are also paying to replace any cracked fenders upon inspection by the dealers. Check with you dealer to see if this is accurate. I hope so and if true applaud Victory for stepping up to the plate on this one.

It's a big cast iron bracket that wraps around the painted area of the fender . Lol. From what I understand it is Not a recall. So I wonder how quickly they will be in getting it out to us ALL

Victory made 7337 visions in 7 years thats 1048 a year.
I do think the fender is a good design just bad assembly. Someone never tighten the bolts all the way tight

After losing 3 fenders and having my wheel lock up in a corner I decided to go with a witch doctor fender. I still have at least one of the old fenders in my garage but the ONLY fix is the witchdoctor fender. I have had no problem since. I think it looks better too. Its a one piece fender with more flex then the stock one. I will try and post a pic.

all they need is some flat washers the size of a fifty cent piece with a 5/16 hole in it. Tighten the 6mm bolt is the important part

The dealer that I purchased my Vision from is going to replace my cracked front fender and honor the service bulletin. The service bulletin does not tie in with the vin no. Of the bike. I contacted the deler with the bulletin no. And they looked it up then agreed to look at and replace and install the bracket and fender((s). Freedom Powersports in Everett,Pa. Always treated me great!

Haven't been to my dealer yet with this but I'll probably get the same BS I always get from them re: service bulletins/recalls: it's a wear item, not covered.

Read what the bullentin says; if upon inspection the fender is cracked, dealer must use the fender reenforcement kit to fix. The dealer has no choice but to fix it, they will be payed by Victory for fixing it. The kit is for fenders that have the signs of cracks begining to form.
