After the last couple of years it is a BIG YAWN. They just keep modifying the CC and using old steel frames while slapping a new name on them.

How about some substance Victory?

i agree. and then you see a model that was around for about 2-3 years gone.. one thing that scares me is how they never really kept investing in the vision.. the REAL improvements i saw from my 08 to 11 vision , AL the Victorys got.. (transmission, ABS) yeah they have done little things.. but when you look at the CC. they came out with that factory LED light , etc etc. i know there is limits to the vision because of its body work.. its just seems, you hear them talk about how much the CC outsells the vision.. but at the same time you not doing anything to make the vision more attractive. to alot of people accessories / add-ons is something that important to them . hell now that i think about it.. they took a step backwards in from areas... removing things to reduce the price.. since i as talking about the head light.. that one area they cheapened them... they remove the HID light and put a 35 watt bulbs..? really? I love the hell out of my HID light !

Got my hopes up for something more significant this time around including some actual redesign to the Vision body work. Do have to agree that the lack of a broad range of accessories for the Vision has been pretty disappointing. This was really driven home when a buddy showed up with his new Indian and I saw all of the customized/detailed pieces on it. Made me question how much value Polaris places on the Victory line.

The dealer show in Vegas starts tonight at 8pm PST. The current rumors are a smaller cc bike like the scout and a liquid cooled vision. However the vision will essentially be cross country with a fixed fairing. Much like how the HD Road Glide is to the Street Glide. We'll see of course later tonight/tomorrow. This needs to be the year for some excitement! Some of those cool Indian electronics need to make it to the Vics. They didn't gut the line last year for nothing. Everything seems to point to 2016 being a big deal. Just please don't give us yet another year of the same old Vision from 2008! Eight model years is enough.

Looks like no changes to the line up. They kept the vision exactly the same. I am just happy they kept it in the lineup. It does need some improvements I wish victory would listen to these forums and give us some of these updates.

I've loved my Vision especially with all the mods, perf and cosmetic. As far as I'm concerned. when and if I am ready for a new bike, it wont' be a Victory. They are quickly becoming antiquated when it comes to new innovation etc. Buying someone else's electric power plant is far from being a thought leader. They couldn't even improve the Vision's electronics or audio system. Check out the GPS offering..still the Garmin 660

What happened to the "5 new models and think you will really like what's coming out". Really? OK, guess now I can go after the tricked-out '11 Vision 8-Ball I've been holding off on.

My next bike would have been a fresh, updated Vision..... sadly, since that bike still doesn't exist, it will probably be an HD or BMW.

Massively massively disappointed. Not one upgrade that the Indians have?? It's been 2 damn years. I legitimately ask if Polaris gives a damn about Victory at all.

I sure am glad I only have 82K miles on my Vision. At this rate I will have 200K on it before Polaris decides to make a few minor changes to the Vision. It is hard to increase sales when you screw the pooch in innovation.

I'm happy with my Vision (thankfully) but I think it's pretty pathetic that there hasn't been anything truly new in years. Nothing innovative. I don't care about an electric bike. Every year I am told "this is the year" and nothing, I mean nothing. Guess I can skip the demo area at Sturgis this year. I would just like to see Victory continue to move forward in design, been stagnate far too long.

Lets look where we were in 2008-2010, Vegas, Kingpin, Hammer, and Jackpot with multiple paint options and some 8-ball models. The accessories book was getting bigger and bigger. Bikes were bright colors with chrome. Now, Kingpin gone with no true successor, Jackpot gone, Vegas and Hammer were reduced to 8-ball only for a few years. Most bikes are dark color with blacked out exhaust and handle bars. I've talked with a Dealer that used to be a big Harley dealership and worked closely with Harley racing, but is now a Victory / Indian dealer. The dealership has tried to tell Victory people like bright paint and shiny chrome. How can you increase market share when you reduce your bike selection, reduce paint options, and basically have all bikes with no chrome.

You could get the Ford model T in any colour you wanted as long as your choice was black!

Totally agree with all.  Victory was so innovative early on in the brand.  It's sad and disappointing to see what is happening to it now.  I'm now considering others including HD and Indian.

I posted this on the Victory facebook page this morning. I believe they removed it as I can't find it anymore:

If that's all you have for 2016, why even have a dealer meeting? Just send them last years catalog with a a few colors crossed out. Massively disappointed. We vic riders have been the red headed step child ever since polaris bought Indian. Two years and we still have the same clunky stuck on radio and cruise controls. Same outdated throttle cables, and ugly wiring outside the handlebars. Harley has had throttle by wire since 2008! Indian has had it since day 1. Victory riders? Nah don't need it. Victory is the performance brand? You might want to look that word up. The company that builds motorcycles with 1940's technology is kicking our rear ends. Not sure performance means what you think it means.

I agree with all. It is hard to justify a purchase of a new Victory at this point. I am very disappointed.

Careful about the HD's.. I have been checking out the Road and Street Glides; seems that they have many issues as well...

I am disappointed. But not to the point of leaving for HD or others. My 08 VV has 100k care free miles and I still love the bike. I've never had any other brand over 30k without getting bored with it or sick of the maintenance. I will keep my 08 forever, but I do hope Victory updates soon as I will prolly need to add a new full time bike to the garage in the next 4-6 years.

Yup, I remember when MB himself told me at a rally in 2011 that there were big changes in the nest 2-3 years for the Vision.... that deadline was 2014! I'm calling BS, they keep blowing smoke year after year (short for LYING). I think they are letting the Vision line die out, and just using what parts are left in inventory to put together bikes until they run out. And that's fine, but don't lie to us and tell us big changes coming next year! Year after year, it's simply BS. No one likes to be lied to.
