1. Modernized electronics like the Indian Roadmaster & Ultra Rushmore
2. Included in above: ROCKING stereo & amp (see Victory Magnum)... how about some Boston Acoustic speakers?
3. Central locking key fob mechanism for ignition & bags
4. Blue tooth ability from phones to Vision for music and phone calls thru speakers
5. Reinstall the HID. Love mine on my 2009
6. Killer paint designs... something besides flames & skulls
7. Quality components, not cheap

Vic has always had quality engine & tranny components and cheapened other areas to keep their bottom line profitable. And Vic is making a TON of $$$. Keep the profitability, but give your customers great products & service. We will spend more when we perceive a better return on our investment.

POLARIS, VICTORY... Are you listening??? Add your own list below.

I'd trade the Bluetooth for more saddlebag storage - just like the original design

maybe there will be a mid year vision. My dealer has seats and headlight at half off to get rid of them. I'm guessing its because maybe there will be a change down the line call about parts

Doc, I agree with your list. If they create this Vision without changing anything else, I'll be in the market for it.

Why even bother ... ?! Seriously.. if victory hasn't listened in 8 years. Why would they all the sudden start now ??

True Statement - Which is too bad because the vision is best bike for long trips, it just needs a slight facelift or should I say rearlift. Fatten out her rear-end so the saddlebags open from the top and then you would have the extra 10 gallons of storage that the CCT has.

It took Honda 12 years to change the Goldwing. Maybe this is the business model Polaris is following.

I believe it is. And, really, Honda still hasn't changed the Goldwing in 15 years, except for some restyled plastic. I ride with friends who have 2001 Goldwings and 2015 Goldwings. Not much difference under the skin, at all.

I just got through talking with my dealer. The feeling he got from the dealers meeting was that this was the last year for the Vision. He knew that I would of bought a new one if they would have updated the Vision.

I always considered the Vision as ahead of it's time. Since many of the bikes are now surpassing it in technology, maybe even since last year, that means in 2008, it was 6 years ahead of it's time.
I don't expect any new model that they might come out with next year to have the same features as a current Indian, HD or GW, I expect it to have what they will 7 years from now!

I think there were some suspension upgrades on the GW for 2012 for that cumbersome rear end shimmy in the twisties at low speed.

I like the list the OP posted, except

4. Bluetooth ability from phones to Vision for music and phone calls thru speakers
I don't care about Bluetooth INTO the bike, I'm more interested in Bluetooth OUT FROM the bike to my headset.

Built in TPMS

Built in Adjustment on the rear shock, with the button on the console etc

Updated and INTEGRATED audio and cruise controls instead of the afterthought pods hanging down now.

+1 on the TPMS and remote suspension adjustments although I would like to see the front and the rear shocks to be remotely adjustable. There are bikes out there that have electrically adjustable suspensions for thousands of dollars less than the Vision. Bluetooth is one of things that disappointed me that Victory has not gotten into. Almost all manufacturers now have Bluetooth standard on their touring models, why is it not even an add-on for the Vision? You can add it to the Cross Country, but you have to go aftermarket to find anything for the Vision.

Actually there are Dongles and a harness from Victory, made by SENA that can be bought for the Vision. It's really expensive though. I did it with the help of someone here on the forum by creating a cable to plug into the Vision radio with a 3.5 jack on the end and a BT transmitter thats always plugged in. Not seamless, but decent.

I talked with a dealer/owner today and he said a Vision redesign for 2017. What I don't know. Also talked about a smaller water cooled motor, not for the Vision yet. For what it's worth.

I kind of expected some kind of new model with the 1200cc water cooled engine that they used for the 156 Project even if it was a sport bike style or small cruiser. So what was all the fuss Menneto harped about during his last interview? He said it would be out this year. I hate to admit it, but I think the Vision will be gone after this year. I don't think we will see an upgrade or remake.

Why are we wishing for next year.
Look at all the innovative stuff they did to the Indian. Remote lock fly by wire throttle and more.
Dam Polaris/Victory did nothing this year. So were going to sit on our hands and wait for them to pull there head out of the ass and do something.
