I asked you not to post this and you still do. If some one goes out and trys this and crashs it your faulet. How are you going to live with your self.

"The Vision can recover on its own from a tank slapper at 85 mph. Test riders actually got the bike up to 85, set the cruise, took their hands off the bars and then slapped the end of one bar with all they have putting it into a violent tank slapper and then timed how long it took the bike to recover without rider input!"

Serious?

I really doubt you can put it into a tank slapper by hitting the bars.

I can see it now, the test rider sitting on the Vision looking at his timer during a tank slapper.

I've thought about it, but I'm afraid my tassels will get messed up.

Somewhere there is a guy who would respond to this thread, IF he were not lying in a hospital bed, covered head to toe in a body cast because he tested the tank slapper theory on a vision while approaching 88 mph, with a flux capacitor mounted in place of the trunk. And to think Jedi Jeff is to blame- the guilt he must feel. Johnnyvision, read up on Darwins natural selection theory, it covers situations such as these.

John, I refer you to your earlier post on this http://www.vision-riders.com/bb/forums/thread-view.asp?tid=20386&
It's meant to spur conversation. Anyone that is naive or hair-brained enough to try this is beyond my sympathy and should to be allowed to access the internet. Thanks for your concern though.

All I ask is you quit doing it. Think of the question that are asked here about stuff people should know but don't.
Please stop doing it before someone gets hurt

How many of you have seen the sign "wet paint" and check to see if it is.
Just scared that someone would try it. I never want to read where someone did.
We all should practice safe riding and try to help others do the same.
I have been on a bike that has gone into a wobble and believe me the bars move back and forth so fast and there is nothing you can do to stop them. Not even the Hulk could stop them

There is no reason Jeff can't post that. If someone is so foolish as to try it , they need the experience of consequences from bad decisions to increase in wisdom. Jeff is actually doing them a favor.
