Good day, eh?

I've been reading a lot of posts about this modification and I'm hoping somebody and guide me. I love the results that I've seen on this upgrade on Youtube, but I haven't read enough about the sequential module wiring part...like where in the process to install it. I've ordered the Kuryakyn 4710 Controller, and 6 Cree 3157 80w LED's. All off ebay..(links below) Lastly, I think I found a good sequential module (3rd link below), but haven't ordered it yet...

My question is where in the install process will I put the sequential module..? After the 4710, or before?

I plan on wiring the truck run lights to this configuration as well. If all goes well, I'll start researching the front turns...

Any advice is greatly appreciated.

I installed a led magician after the 4710 on my vision. The ExLed module looks interesting. I don't see a way of varying the speed of the sequencing. It's cheap enough to buy one and experiment using a power supply and a breadboard before taking apart your lenses.

Thank you for the post and feedback. I appreciate it. Good idea on bench testing. Can wait to give it a shot. Did you also connect your trunk lid lights to the led magician?

I left external wiring from each taillight sequencer to connect to the trunk lights. My plan was to have the trunk lights sequence in unison with the tails. The lenses on the trunk lights can't be separated like the tails to insert the led pcb. I'm not ready to cut into the white plastic body yet. Replacements trunk lights are about $35 ea. Cracked one trying to remove the lens is how I know. :^(
