Got my Black Cherry back from dealership Jax Power Sports. New rear section of front fender installed as well as the bracket(s) for $0. Only took them 1 week (had to wait for new rear section).

Just had mine done today. Dealer already had the kits on the shelf when I called; no waiting at all. Great dealer to work with (Mesa, AZ).

Had mine done last week. They also replaced the front 1/2 of a the fender because it had cracked at the bolts. It is pretty amazing how much stiffer the fender is compared to the old style.

Good question someone posted. I think I asked my Vic dealer a few months ago about the front fender and was told they (he) hadn't heard anything about it. I'm the second owner of my 2010 Vision so I'm wondering if there's something I need to do to make sure I get notices of this kind of stuff.

I called in for an appointment when I first got the letter. Last week they had parts in hand and I spent about an hour waiting for them to finish with my bike. In my case the rear was still fine so I only got the new bracket.

I haven't received any letter from cheap ass Polaris/Victory. It piss's me off.
I did get a postcard from the dealer I bought it from. He's only 100 miles away. I have a dealer 3.5 miles from house and they give me the run a round about the brackets. I fixed the crack myself in the fender. Not sure I want any thing now

at 121.200+ miles, my 2008 fender is still fine. I'm not worried about it.

I'll probably take mine by since I did get a letter. I'm curious to see the "bracket" since no one will post a picture of what they did.

Chris, I'll post a picture tonight. I just had mine done on Friday. Looks like a bracket on the inside and 4 new black allen head bolts. two on the top replacing the push pins and one on each side for the bracket tail.

The visible change, on both sides, is that small bolt head you can see between the brake lines in the after picture.

Sorry I didn't say been to the local dealer 3 times. He just tells me no bracket yet. I told him I have a crack in mounting hole and fixed it.
I asked do you want to pull fender and look now. He said we don't have the time.

there is a U bracket that bolts to the rear fender mounting hole and to the front fender mounting hole.
Then there is a bracket that goes from them to the back half of fender where they drill a hole and put in a mounting bolt

Called Volusia Motor Sports in New Smyrna Beach, FL. and they had the bracket in stock, made an appointment and they had it done in an hour. I had bought a replacement front fender a year ago from another dealer that I won't mention, however, Volusia contacted Ma Vic and got me a refund for the front fender I had already replaced. If you live in Central Florida or you are down here for any of the Bike-week events you need to stop into Volusia Motorsports and meet Andy and his staff. Great people to deal with. Not big , not fancy but the kind of dealer you want to do business with and can trust the work done on your Vision or any Vic you ride.
Best Victory dealer I have dealt with and the work they do is always spot on.

Rear section was cracked. They ordered a new fender. Installed the bracket in the mean time.
