Punta Gorda, Florida | I've had this on-going problem for a couple of years. The black plastic inserts on the top of the trunk lid develop a white haze. If I use some spray shine it goes away for a little while, but then comes back worse. The bike is garaged and kept clean and waxed. Local dealer suggested a product called "Resolution Restorer" available at NAPA, called dealer in Jacksonville and parts guy there recommended MacGuire's black (stuff). Any suggestions? Thanks! |

why not clean it with rubbing alcohol and paint it |

, AR United States | Mine does this too. I use 'Back to Black' on it sometimes, but it comes back. I heard another product called Forever Black lasts much longer, but I haven't tried it yet. I once tried black shoe dye, but it didn't last either. |

Punta Gorda, Florida | I think I found the solution. I got some McGuires 'Black" at Auto Zone and it seems to be working well.
For $10 bucks it was an easy fix. |
