I also moved from the venture to the Vision. The biggest thing I noticed was that the Vision seemed to wonder all over the road until I realized it was me being used to correcting the Venture all the time and when I let the bike do its own thing the ride was better. Head mounted fairing imparts steering while the fairing on the Vision does not do this.

Welcome to the 1 in a million club

Welcome to the site. You are going to love the Vision. You can always take the sport bike on Valium to The Vic Shop in Adel, IA if you need to wake her up. Rylan will make it scream.

Welcome!!

Still riding in Missouri, but it's time to get the heated gear out of storage.

Heated gear and a Vision means the riding season never really ends, as long as the roads are dry.

Welcome. Not many Visions in my aera and guys often wonder where do I get it fixed and how well do they whole up. My short answer is . My 08 has 99K on the clock with all original parts, except cams and original belt drive. Many on this site have even higher milage and several of them came off of Japanese bikes inluding Gold Wings. N'joy miles of smiles.

I understand. I have friends in Minnesnowta. I don't know how they stand the winters.

They do enjoy their snowmobiles immensely though.

Your Vision is a beautiful bike. Consider adding the lower wind deflectors. They really help a lot to keep the cold wind off of you. I used mine today for a breakfast ride. It was 32 degrees and a fine day for a ride.

I'm new to the forums and it looks like I may have the twinkie to your Vision. Mine has the lowers which I love and the arm rests which the wife loves. I really like this bike and am looking forward to a hopefully dry summer!!!

Welcome to the site. Nice bike. Screw spring I rode to work today with a leather jacket, gloves, boots, and bluejeans. It was sweet. Don't know your plans but you can put the rack on yourself pretty easy. The holes are pre-marked on the bottom side of the lid. All you do (as I remember it) is remove the shell and lean it forward on the seat. You don't need take out the side lights as mentioned in the instructions. Also, many buy larger chrome flat washers for the mount on the top to distribute the weight better. I did and they were available at a "general" bike shop vs my dealer. Work like a champ. Anyhow welcome again and really spring would be nice ;
