I went last year and was really disappointed as it was not as good as in previous years. Don't think I am going this year.

Have you ever been to the International Motorcycle Show? is it similar ? In the past , the IMS came to places like Atlanta, Greenville but now it doesn't come within 500 miles of me.

Yeah, The IMS is really impressive! I went twice to it when it came to Atlanta. The Norcross show is nothing like the IMS show. Good news is the weather is supposed to be nice this weekend so the show will be packed but it was just missing something last year. The bikes that were there were mostly Harleys there was one Indian to look at and a few BMW's. There was plenty of vendors but there is nothing to put on a Vision at one of those shows. My wife and I walked through the entire building in one hour.

so they don't have all the manufacturers offerings to look at sit on? I was thinking like you, if the show is dud , at least it will be a good ride out there and back.

Last year it was only Harley and BMW and the Indian dealer had one Indian and 2 Victory's to look at. There were a lot of used bikes of different makes and a vintage area but that was it. It used to have a lot of different dealers and they may be back this year but I don't know.
It's supposed to be 65 on Sunday so it means I am going to ride towards lake country to find something to eat, Madison or Greensboro area.

Plan B for us may likely be to ride to Suches and eat there or Turners Cafe or somewhere there abouts.

I didn't. My bike broke down Friday evening. Turns out it is the countershaft bearing. It's going to be a big deal so now i have to figure out what to do.
