While the whole HD "Lifestyle" has diminished and there is more competition these days, Harley will persevere. They haven't survived 100 years on Lifestyle alone.

I have never been a fan of the brand. I chose and still choose to go my own way. No clubs, no colors other than our beloved Stars and Bars. I avoid chromos and posers.

I find it humorous that they would put the picture of a motorcycle Yamaha "Star" stopped making in 2014. The largest bike they make is now the 1300 Tour Deluxe.

They have given up on the bike cruiser market. Score 1 for Victory.

I had a picture of a Harley ad on my old phone where they were "trumpeting" their old school racing history on dirt tracks and the old skool rider with his Bell helmet was on a Triumph. The poster went out to the dealers but got pulled back quickly. If you could find a copy of it, it's priceless. Ah well, all's fair in love and war. I have very little to discuss with the majority of HD owners, that's just my problem I reckon. It's become a conditioned response from years of trial and error. I don't see the mystique. Some folks ask me why I don't or haven't ridden HD with 40 plus years of riding and my response is I have bad knees and can't walk long distances 😜. The bad knee come from kick starting old Bonnevilles but I don't tell them that.
