Hey folks,

Q: Will it function with my brand new PCV and Autoner?

I think all the responses will be negative to the second question. Something about multi discharge timing issues that MSD cant correct for,

Q:Is there an upgrade to the stock coil?

Thanks

MSD is for performance motors. Like 116's or supercharged motors
Stock coils work just fine for a cammed motor with performance exhaust.
Your motor is not big enough for them and spending $379 dollars and not getting and performance benefit would be bad

Depends on what you are trying to accomplish. If you're not going any further than what you have right now about the best thing you could do is buy some better plugs such as iridium, platinums or silver plugs to help what you already have. Otherwise, unless you are planning to mod your motor extensively, MSD ignitions would be a big waste of money. Accel use to make some upgraded coils for the Victorys, but I haven't heard of anyone buying any as of late.

All 4 top dyno tuners say stay with stock NGK's. Maybe you'll pick a little better starting with better plug wires. Maybe

Plug Wires are a weak point on Victory's. Their high performance one do well though.

Thanks folks,

I am planning DR1 cams later this year.( IF i can persuade my wife. )
I though that an upgrade to stock coils might be in order before i do the cams.

Plugs - I already have the iridium plugs. to use with PCV and auto tune mods i just purchased.

Once i get the new rear exhaust header this week ill be happy as a clam. FYI - auto tune uses WB O2 in both heads.. aft O2 sensor is frozen in place, i have tried everything from heat to cold to heat. Found a used 09-10 header on ebay for 50 buck sans shipping.

Hoping beyond hope to get all the parts in this week AND not have to work saturday, Vicky(the whore) needs to be put back together and ridden hard for a few miles.

Best thing for stuck O2 sensors is a deep soak in a hot penetrant. Preferably for a couple of days. Then use a small impact or one with low torque so that it doesn't twist it off. Been able to free several this way unless of course it has been cross threaded. Really need to put an anti-seize on before putting O2 in the bung. Some prefer copper based, some prefer nickel based. I've tried both and the nickel to me seems to work better.
