Hi all, am new to the Vision scene. Have just purchased an '11 Tour and have a question about different saddlebag liners. I see the Victory brand is $129 and the Bestum brand is half of that. Both made of nylon...difference? Can't wait to get out and RIDE!!

thanks

Get the Bestems. The only difference in them and the ones sold by Victory is the price. The ones I have even have the Vision logo on them.

I have the Bestums. You can't really pack them tightly and still get them in but other than that they are made well, good zippers and contoured to fit. Move South, we ride all the time and we're still clinging to our bibles and guns. I'll be riding muy Vision up into Kentucky this weekend.

I have the Bestums. They fit fine, empty. Can't put too much in them or they won't go in the door. I usually use a couple of soft cotton bags that I can roll up and stuff in there.

I have the Bestums. They work great. You can pack all the soft stuff you want in the side bags and still get them in the saddle bag. You may have to "crush" stuff to get it all the way in, that is why I pack soft stuff (clothing) in the side bags.

Ihave a set of Bestem Saddlebag liners I bought for my 11" Vision that I used once and would gladly sell them for 1/2 the Bestem price plus the shipping. Let me know if you're interested

My bestumom bags ripped at one of the handles. The stitching didn't hold. Still better than paying 2-3 times the price

You might consider looking at a dry bag as an option. Shaped like a tube and can be compressed to get more stuff in them. Bass Pro carries several sizes.

Late reply, but the Bestum side bags are not designed properly... the Vision bags are designed with the side pouch at the top so they slide into the space in the doors properly. The Bestum ones have the same size pouch but on the bottom of the bags... which, to me makes no sense... The Bestum trunk bag seems to fit well.... Hox

I have the Bestem bags as well. They fit fine empty or half full, but the zipper is on the top so they can't really be "side" loaded. The Victory bags have the zipper along the edge which makes them easy to load/unload while in the bike. I find that I just don't use them. When I have the trunk on, I have used the trunk bag and that works great.
