Had a new E4 mounted on the rear today. Found out that I need new brakes and rotors. OEM parts come to almost $1000. For that kind of money I'm thinking I should be able to up grade the brakes and make it stop better. I need your guidance and suggestions please.

I upgraded to Lyndall in the rear, $65 a set. Still using the stock rotor at 49,000 miles. I plan on putting them up front when the EBC pads need replacing. I notice an improvement with just the rear set. I looked at carbon fiber rotors. YIKES! Big money.

look in owners book it will give you spec's on what rotor thickness should be.
Witchdoctor has way better brake pads that will stop you better the oem for less then 50 bucks.
you know the rear brake is to slow you down and the front are for stoping
