Some nice paint options, Vision survived another year. Disappointed in no electronic upgrades across the board

I saw 2 colors. Black and Blue. Not much of a choice.

Lack of interesting upgrades or more paint options means, to me, that they have lost interest in producing the Vision and it's on its way out. The CCT and its variants are the new sales flagship, along with an uncomfortable Injun.

I am lowering my expectations. That way I won't be disappointed again.

Richard Petty blue and black again. It is like buying last years model with a new year badge.

IMO, we're going to see a new Vision soon, and it's going to be an INDIAN to compete with the RoadGlide. For you Vision pilots, start accepting this now, so it'll be easier to swallow when it actually happens. Everything we wish for on our black sheep Vision will be on a fix fairing Indian for about $25k. I'm guessing the final model year for the Vision will be 2018, a 10th anniversary special edition. It's hard for a company to spend money to improve a bike that only sells about 1000 a year, and many at huge discounts. I plan on riding mine until it dies or I do. It's a Keeper!!

Look at the standard features on the Roadmaster. LED lighting, keyless start, remote lock on bags and trunk, TPMS, 200 watt radio, and the 7" touchscreen with all kinds of features. Polaris has had 3-4 years to upgrade the Victory line and people and I find it funny that frustrated Victory owners are calling them out on their own facebook page.

Isn't a Roadmaster a fixed fairing bike???? I would expect to see the Vision disappear and a fixed fairing Cross County if anything.

If you look at the pictures on the Roadmaster page: http://www.indianmotorcycle.com/en-us/roadmaster-thunder-black/phot... , you can see the separation between the tank and the fairing. This probably means that it is a frame mounted fairing.

!000 per yearwell thats pretty godd considering nothing new about it oother than getting less chrome.

I would bet that many of us who currently own a vision would be more than willing to get the true new and improved version if it became a reality.

So fisrt years sales may top 5000+

We dont want the cross bikes because the vison is a better ride and we dont want the indian becaus we are too cramped.  We dont want another old style vision because we already have one that will go atleast 150K.

HELLOO POLARIS ARE YOU LISTINING  ????

sjaskow, the Roadmaster and Chieftain fairing are fork mounted, not frame mounted.

Oops, that what I was trying to say, fork, not frame. That's what I get for trying to do 2 things at once.

IMO, Polaris stuck a toe in the water styling wise with the Vision and it wasn't well received. They didn't manage to peel masses from either the Harley or Honda group due to the styling. I see more of the 8Ball styled black Gold Wings then I do Visions. The fit and finish is ok but not Harley level but I was also happy not to pay $25-30K. The cross bike and the Indians are styled after the Harleys and are cheaper, which is why I think they sell. That link to the Indian above has a terrible looking fairing, to me.

I wasn't totally turned off by the styling but it's not my fav. I ride it because it's the superior handling touring bike. I would like to see the back end of a Cross bike on a Vision, like someone built. The bags are more usable and then we'd have the quick detach trunk.

We haven't had alot of things for years - limited to almost no accessories, PIA to remove the trunk (vs the CC quick detach) - even the backrest disappeared for years. Every accessory is big $ - $40 for the carpet trunk? I haven't bought any of that stuff as I don't find it a value and purposely stay away from the dealer for that reason. I'm hoping for the clearance sales on accessories...

My '11 sat at a dealer for over a year. I paid $16K new using the $1K coupon. I bet alot of Visions get sold that way which doesn't/didn't help. I don't think we'll see anymore as Vision development money is now going into Indian, making batwing fairing bikes.
