 took the vision i with a sound like gravel at idle.  Tech at Vic shop got out the stethoscope and said sounds like cam chains were slappin. Only have 29K on the bike right now.  Haven't heard from them since I dropped it off.  Am down to riding the rOAD kING TILL i GET IT back.

you're the first I have read about the cam chain.

I'm guessing it coming from the inside of the primary.

On both sides of the chain is plastic/ nylon tension "shoes".. and that chain is seriously strong..... I had mine out to do some work.

Nope. they say it is the hydraulic tensioner
