Thought I would share a preview of a special Christmas present I'm making for my grandson. Wish that someone had talked me out of attempting to make the dash 3D. Still have to design the windshield, handlebars and footrest, then paint to match my bike, cover the seat and put everything together.

That's one cool rocker there lenny and you're one cool granddad for building it for your grandson. My son-in-law does the rocking horse thing but I think I'll have to forward this picture, if you don't mind, to him. Never hurts to put a bug in someone's ear even if I don't have grandchildren that small anymore.

Thanks for the compliments. Please pass the idea along, I'd love to see what someone else would do to make it even better.

Getting closer. Color is cherry burgundy, not red as it appears in pics. Handle bars and floor boards are ready to install, need to cover seat, but still have to figure out what to use for the windshield.

Possibly a snowmobile windshield. You can buy universal ones that could be cut to fit too.

Great Job!

That's so very cool! A great photo-op would be the two of you side by side on your rides!

Since wildlife photography is another one of my hobbies, I think I can make that happen. Neat idea!

BTW, on Christmas morning he jumped right on it, and kept going back to it leaving other presents that I thought would have been more interesting to him. To say the least it made me very happy.
