I'm so glad Lloyd does what he does! As soon as I get an 8-Ball Vision it will be time for all of the go fast goodies he has for the Vision.

In the past, I've taken a lot of time, sometimes a year or two, to get all of my bikes upgrades. This time I'm putting away the cash so I can upgrade as soon as I have my Vision.

Purchased my IAC as well. Very nice product with easy install. Has anyone heard anything about Lloyd's rev / speed limiter product?? Is this still a possibility?? Anyone?

I have a Lloyds, cam kit, and Ness big honkers. I noticed that the bike still has popping, and the bike seems to run a little fat on the bottom end. Anyone else have this problem?

Yep, just like #57 rich running motor, my bike has the same graph. Zero to about 3000 rpm runs rich and over 5000 runs lean. Only way I could get it to run even at about 13.4 was to switch to the PC V which controls fuel at every 100 rpm making it easy to tune.

DAL,
You switched away from the VFC 3 to Power Commander 5? Did PC make some changes that make it easier to fine tune versus the vfc 3?

Hi guys,

Just a little FYI..We now have a new adjustable intake system that works in conjuction with the intake plate and has adjustable sleeves to suit your build. We have a few bikes out there testing them and so far we are seeing about 5-6 hp and torque gains consistently across the board. I debuted it in Iowa at AVR so some of you may have seen it already. Please feel free to call me if you want to discuss it further. It was good seeing all my Vision riders out there.

So gentlemen, with all the new things we are coming out for the Vision intake system, Im getting alot of questions about perking up the intake on the Crosscountry. As we all know, the frame design leaves very little room to work with. We have actually removed the filter system entirely and it did not improve the performance of this bike whatsoever, which tells us that it has a fairly adequate system already. We've done tons of large builds on these bikes and although they dont pull as much as the Vision IN MOST CASES, they hold their own pretty well. One thing to remember is that the intake is only ONE part of a TWO part application. Without a decent flowing exhaust system it doesnt matter WHAT you put on the Crosscountry. NOW...one more thing, Im hearing alot of you suggesting that we resolve to cutting the frame on your Crosscountrys to work the intake. DO NOT DO THIS!!!!! Lloyd cannot stress enough what risks you will be opening yourself up to if you let anyone alter that frame. Think about it guys. Is a few more horsepower/torque (MAYBE) worth jeopardizing the integrity of your motorcycle????? Theres a reason we havent done it yet. ITS A BAD IDEA!! It would take a highly skilled heliarc welder (and thats not even a guarantee) to chop your frame and put it back together with absolutely no risk of weakening the aluminum. So for those of you who have had it cross your mind, wipe it from your memory banks completely. If you want to discuss this just call me. Despite what youve heard, I still do answer the phones when I can...and I will call you back!

Here's the NEW & IMPROVED Vision Intake Filter

Designed to increase intake efficiency and minimize flow turbulence in the Vision's unique air intake. It is also quieter than our original design. Easy to install and produces 7-8 Hp Gain. It simply replaces the current stock plate installed in your Vision.

HOH-VIF-001 $84.95

Will this increase HP on an otherwise stock bike, or are other upgrades needed?
