I installed the Powerlet Low Profile Powerlet Socket Kit (48"). After my military discount it was about the same price as the Victory one they sell and from what I tell the Victory one comes without connections. Pretty straight forward install, attached is some poor pics.

So when I get a heated jacket liner it plugs straight in. Even called Gerbings to see what side the cord is on. I was surprised the bike came with no exterior outlets. My BMW had 2 outside. Also will use it for my trickle charger.

Why not put the power outlet in the console??? It's pre wired and everything!!!  Just drill a hole and your done. No wiring no fuss no muss!!

I think this will keep the cord out of the way better. Not like this was hard.
