Central Victoria, Australia | Gday to all,
just wondering if any of you visionaries ( is that a vision rider?) are heading to americade.
We are hoping to make it this year and get the long distance award again,
would be nice to catch up with the visionaries from the forum in some manner
I saw my first Vision there in 08 and well i now own one!!
didnt someone say " build it and they will come"

| People keep asking if I am going. I did not think I was "old" enough for it. 
I will have to look up the website and see what's up. I plan to do a lot of riding this year. Does Victory have a luncheon there or maybe a dealer? I ride miles for free food.

Fountain Inn, SC United States | I don't think Victory will have much of a Corporate presence at Americade. They have scaled back their corporate-sponsored shows to Daytona, Sturgis, and the NY IMS. Not saying the truck & demo rides won't be there. If the Victory truck is there, it's probably because local dealers are paying for it and will they will man the booth.
As to your question about Vision Riders. I hope to make it! I'm sure Vision riders from the NY area will be there. |

Test rides are a trap, you end up liking everything and dream of devious ways of filling your garage!!

| I would rather they stop demo rides than go out of business. At least with Victory I can just go to the local dealer for a fix.
Years ago at Sturgis I won a free Victory leather jacket for longest ride to Sturgis then in '05 for the most miles on a Victory. Nothing like free leather.... |

Central Victoria, Australia | Gday folks, i must admit i have been off forum for a little while, My partner Jo and i will be at americade arriving monday leaving sunday.
I wont be riding the vision, as it doesnt float!!,
I will be riding a Sachs Madass 125, it doesnt float either, but it was already in the US.
Dont know how you catch up with people with so many others there, but if you see us say hi!!
I have entered the fuel economy run.
We fly out of Oz tommorrow, going to milwaukee for a few days and a scooter event, then riding the 125 from philadelphia to Lake George!
Have a page on facebook at Street Cred Motorcycle Service hoping to have updates of the journey on there.
looking forward to the event this will be our second one, there in 08
