| instead of spending $79.00 for cam tension cover my buddy Eddie from CCUPOWERSPORTS.COM suggested lug nut covers that go on a semi-truck! I bought a pair at the local truck stop for a dollar a piece!! they fit great and look good to boot!

| They just press on no set screw, my friend that told me about them has had his for a while now and never lost one! I stopped at Love's truck stop and they had 3 styles. these had no lip on them and they were shorter!! I posted this on the VMC as well and someone said there might be a different for new trucks. but mine fit perfect!

| I stopped at the I-80 World's Largest Truck Stop in Iowa a couple years ago and was "awe-struck" at the size of the place and the stuff they sell...I bought all the chrome nut covers I needed for just about every bolt on my bike, including cam chain covers, axle covers, engine mount covers, etc. etc. they all fit with no problems and cost me $23 for the whole deal....If you go that way measure the bolt covers sizes you need beforehand then go for it...As stated above most are for trucks, but they work great and look just fine.....I also think they can be found on the Web...... |

Posts: 366 Albuquerque, NM | I remembered ordering from this site as per Thomas on his fork bullet tip install in the tech ref forum. They should have something that will fit the cam tensioner covers. (thanks again Thomas)

Central Wisconsin | Darren thanks for the tip. I think I'll try covering up the CTN's. Randy, My fork bullets have been holding up well. I did drill a tiny hole in the tips to allow water drainage. Thanks for reminding me about the plastic chrome nut cover website too.
