I'm just wondering if anyone here who has the lighted Victory trunk light. It always amazes me that if there's an optional light back there why Victory has never bothered to offer a third brake light as well. I mean, it seems if there isn't all ready a hole drilled for the emblem, why not make a third brake light option as well. So it also has me wondering if there's a pre-drilled hole behind that piece of metal there.

I have the light piece and it's very bright in the garage. I have no idea what it looks like while I'm riding

Mine is on with the key. I'm sure it wouldn't be too tough to wire it to the brakes or whatever you wish the lights to do.
I remember a full trunk disassembly to install, mainly to access the wiring harness, but it's been awhile ago.

I thought about adding the lighted Victory emblem but decided to go with the Vision Rear Sequential Signal/Stop Light Modification Kit (http://vision-mod.com/Products.html). Going from a Wing to the VV the wife has always been dissatisfied with lack of rear lighting. It thought it was a safety concern and I agree. The mod is fairly easy to install and the lighting in the rear really pops.

I thought about that light as well.. but for what they want to charge for it, and then some of pix Ive seen of the fit and finish...(gaps) I decided against it. It's not like it does all that much when you think about it...

The 99 LED Mod by Songfan is much better for brake light visibility and brightness; compared to the type of a third brake light, that is being described in this thread...

I've installed it. It's perfect.

Have it installed. Looks great. Word of warning dont grip and hand torque those mounting screws cause they will strip that chromed plastic quicker than s**t.
