Ever notice that your Vision will choose the MOST EMBARRASSING time to have you demonstrate the great functionality of the tip-over system? Like when the parking lot is full of other brands of motorcycles!

After lunch yesterday, I was making my way through a gravel parking lot from where I had parked to where my friends Charles and Vicky were parked when I lost footing of my right foot and OVER SHE WENT. Charles said he heard "oh,dammit" and knew something was wrong.

Getting Black Cherry back up was easy - 5 guys lifted her up while I was still straddling the saddle and all commented on how "the drop" had caused no damage at all. The t-o's weren't even scratched.

The other brand this time wasn't H-D but a large group of Goldwings that had just pulled into the restaurant parking lot. Nice bunch of guys and gals.

I had the same thing happen to me several years ago on my first tour bike which was a Wing. People sitting on the patio were laughing as I tried to pick that beast up with 6 inches over gravel under it. A group of Wing riders came to my rescue and had a few choice words for those laughing.

After dumping mine a couple times in the first year, no damage at all thanks to the tip-overs, I switched to the lower 8-ball seat and "whalla" no more issues so far...Must better ride and feel for me especially at stops and slower speeds in parking lots, etc.....

Leaving the parking lot with a dozen friends harley riders I drop mine. Three guys were on me like a cheap hooker. Up went the bike and off we went. Next bar stop every one was coming over looking for the damage. Heads popping up and down hands running a long the bike looking for the cracks and chipped paint. Me I was in the bar when they came in they all had to say how could it be no damage.
Just had to tell them its a smarter designed bike the your old tractor bikes.

I'm with you bro!!! I've demonstrated those TOPs several times.

THE most embarrassing was on her maiden voyage with the SO. We got about a half mile, rolled up to a stop light to make a right The turn was uphill, but the asphalt rolled off downhill. TOP time!!! And only a half mile!!! And of course, my bro and sis inlaws were with us on their Goldwing.

yup most embarassing TIME! It was during Bike Week in Laconia, NH with my wife on the back we rolled up to a stop where the pavement crested then went down to the right onto the main road, that had about 2000 bikes going by. I tried to stop before my front tire went over the crest but I was late applying the brake and the wrong brake at that time. Yup just a tap of the front brake and down she went. Both my wife and I just stepped off. I turned around and had the bike upright before any one could even stop to help. Couldn't of been easier! Great design!!!

Yes I know how to right the Vision off the tip-overs but these guys were there so quickly I barely got to hit the kill switch before they had me upright again.

My first public demo of the tipovers was back in '08... at Deal's Gap. In the parking lot by the Tree of Shame. In front of about 200 people - none of whom had ever seen a Vision before, and I had been educating them on what a Vision was. As we were leaving, my wife and I showed them how the tipovers work. I must say they were quite impressed and I was quite mortified.

Very disappointed that we don't have tip over kill sensor on 08 an 09's.
I wish victory would do a recall and put them in the bikes.

Anny has the kill sensor. I have to turn the key off then back on to restart. 2009 Anniversary.
