Just wondering if anyone is doing cam jobs in Daytona? If so, how much and when(for an 08 VV bone stock except the air filter)?

Unfortunately availability of cams at the moment makes it impossible to do something like that this year

Give Kyle from KMC Powersports a call; he took over Lloyds dyno trailer and was planning to be setup at Daytona (401-952-7972).

Because Lloyd has to have outside vendors cast cores, and grind cams. Vendors lie about capabilities, and deliveries. HOPEFULLY this is going to be straight from the next shipment on out. It's been a pain for the last year or so

Hopefully you're right, I know this has to be frustrating for Lloyd.

No idea, I know he's had trouble with grinders in the past but as Kevin stated, suppliers can over promise.

Andrews grinds the cams but keep in mind they grind for harleys and other bikes and cars.
So who ever putts in the biggest order goes to the top of the list.

Andrews has nothing to do with Lloydz cams.

Speaking of cams, Is there a comprehensive list of all cams for the freedom 106 engine listing lift, duration, timing and lift at TDC ?? Hell I think there's only about 5 or 6 cam grinds available...........

S&S makes cams but you have to change out the springs. I don't want that much cam, I'll wait for Lloyd.

Kyle, done the cams on my 08 Vision today. Change the carriers with the cams, say I got better cams that way.
All I know is it works as promise, and have the smiles to prove it. 110 HP

I think I heard Kyle say that Mokintner brought the last set of 08' cams that he had here. ET

When you said he changed the carriers I thought he must have. Any benefit to installing the 09 cams in an 08?

None that I know of, they where the only cams he had. Ask about why he was changing the carriers and if that
made a difference he said no. Also put a PCV in when I ask about working in a 08 his answer was a PCV will
work on any 03 and up.

I thought that might be the case. I knew the PCV would work. I'm waiting for Lloyd to get some cams in and I'll install them myself. There's not a dealer anywhere around that installs cams without pulling the motor.
