Has any on had the experience of the throttle on a XC stuck (not releasing forward).
I can roll it forward and it works, but it is like the ?spring? does not roll the throttle forward automatically.
It is a 2011 XC with 3300 miles so I am sure victory warranty will repair, I just am asking if there is anything I can do without having to leave it in the shop for a few days.

Had that happen to me. On the vision under right cheese wedges is the throttle cable. Several of us had a nut back out at the cables attach point, a little thread lock on it fixed me up, no issues 40k + miles later. Good luck

Your push cable may also be improperly adjusted. That will definitely cause the throttle to be difficult to rotate. The pull and push cables are adjusted at the base of the throttle housing, where the cables enter. The cable at the front of the housing is the pull cable, and the rearward one is the push. Try turning the rear adjuster closer to the housing ( I believe that is correct to loosen tension ).

Had a similar problem on my 2008 Vision fuel was leaking out of gas cap and melting the nylon gears of the throttle body

Do you have heated grips? If so, note if you experience this throttle sticking only when the heat is on. I know of several cases(mine included) where this is the case. The rubber grip/sleeve expands against the grip end cap and binds. Next time it happens just turn off the heat and note that it will free up after about 30 seconds or so after heat is off. The solution is to knock the end cap back a little (about 1/32 inch ) and it 's cured. Hope this helps.

If you are using a throttle buddy or covers (such as Hush Puppies) on your throttle grip make sure that neither extends off of the grip and over the end cap/weight.
