Picked up my Vision about two weeks ago and put on the Arlen Ness Big Honkers Exhaust. The quietness of the stock exhaust was killing me. As far as the installation went, I had no manual and the first side took me f'n 3 hrs taking my time not to break any of the plastic and had hell of a time getting the pipe off! The other side only took 1.5 hrs. They sound great! I can hear my stock stereo at level 11 going 65mph going against the wind. At idle, it's a low, deep, rumble. Give it gas and it's pretty loud. Definitely worth it.

Below is the video... thanks to my son for reving while I filmed.

If the bike in the video is yours I noticed a slight gap in the tips. Try removing the tips and add 1 washer between the tips and the mounting points on the Big Honkers. That will take care of the gap and they will match up perfectly.

Ok, since my S1L2 could end up on indefinite backorder, I'm considering some other options. The Honkers sound pretty nice. My 2 big questions right now, 1) Do the Honkers require any computer remapping, 2) would they be compatible with Stage 1, i.e. use the Honkers in place of the Victory slip-ons?

Although I havent had mine remapped yet, it is recommended that you remap when installing big honkers. As far as compatibility w/ Stage 1... I'm not sure so someone else will have to chime in.

Couple of extra holes in the stock pipes have greatly improved drivability and milage on mine. Sound is understated but impoved. Have a pop when shifting cold. Gonna check for loose clamps like Lloyd mentioned. Bike is never cold too long anyway.
