Got the bike back from the dealer on Wednesday after a new tire, rear pulley, and new belt. Sprained my ankle on Thursday. Can't ride for a few days now.

You let a little thing like that stop you?

Only because it's left ankle. If it buckles again then I go over and so does the bike.

A new pulley and belt on a 2011. Sure hope it was under warranty. So your feet are not big enough to support you but you'll be at it soon

Hope you heal fast.  I know how it is, I have my own quirks developing, but I'll keep on riding until it interfers.

The first time I took off in my vision I was used to riding a small bobber of a motorcycle and when I stopped it almost sucked my foot under the bike. I feel your pain man.

Spraining the ankle had nothing to do with the bike. I did it when I slipped while mowing. I was told to stay off the ankle for 3 days.

The pulley and belt were both warranty work.

Wish that I could but I can't find anyone to do it for the price that it costs me to do it. I gave up on my sons doing it years ago.

And your point is? You have tip overs! I don't know how you would get it back up with only one good leg though, but what the heck, don't stop till your leg getts better. You could fuel up on the go with a buddy passing over a fuel hose. Any thing for a ride, man.

Started riding again today. The ankle is tender but not too bad. Now mowing the lawn is next.

You can practice your slow maneuvering by pulling your mower behind your Vic

Some kid in your neighborhood would be glad to keep you riding by mowing your yard. A very small price to pay.
