Hi Everyone. My name is Vince. I will be purchasing a vision in the next month and I was wondering with those who have a red vistion like the 2011, or 2012, has anyone mentioned to you that the brake light was hard to see with the red paint in the daylight.

Thank you for your responses.

I have a red Vision. No one has ever remarked that to me. If you're concerned about that, install the 99 LED mod under the lip of the rear truck cover. That's at eyeball level to those behind you; and those LEDS are bright.

My friends have complained about my brake and turn signals being hard to see in daylight. I installed a red Tier3 led above the license plate as a supplementary brake light. I am undecided on what to do about the turn signals right now.

for lighting issues, the 99 led or google radienz leds they have a lot of great products, they have a very bright let set up, that you can have custom built, mine has red leds in the center and turns at each end, fits very nice between the trunk and trunk lid, all in one unit.

One other item Radiantz has , is a licence plate frame that has leds built into it, you need to goto the site to see what they have, very nice stuff, I made a custom plate mount for a guy at work, all his rear lites to include run , turn, and break are all on the license plate.

Hi Vince,

I've added "Custom Dynamics" 'Stingers' under the trunk lip. I put a red set in the middle for brakes, and a pair of orange ones on the left and right side for blinkers. I also added a pair of "CD" 'Majic Flex' lights just to the outside of each mirror for added visibility on the side, when I am next to a cage that's not paying attention,

Custom Dynamics has just about anything you could imagine, for LED lighting.

I did something similar....LED bar across the top of the license plate that flashes 4 times then steady on for breaking and also sequential left/right turn signal indicators starting in the middle of the LED bar. My riding friends tell me it really gets their attention day or night.

I was concerned about brake lights like most....
Went to Advance and got a couple of LED strips and added to the space between the trunk lid and trunk as most have done. I'll see how long they last....if they dont, I'll get the more expensive ones.

Mine are bright and my friends say they notice the new LEDS and not the lights down below now. I also added 2, 6" LED strips on the sides for extra signal light power. Now, you can see red signal lights from the side of the bike now which is what I wanted. I was concered about someone in my blind spot area not seeing the turn signals.

Total investment....$50 and about 2 hrs of time.

Mikey, federal law states the manufacturer must prove the modification caused the problem.
