I have never gotten so much attention from riding a motorcycle. I traded my Road King (took a beating) about 3 weeks ago but I simply pulled the trigger. Old folks, young ones, little people, big people, different colored people, visitors from foreign lands, even the dogs take a second and third look. People stop in the driveway just to visit and take a better look. Restaurants, gas stations, taverns, banks, parking lots, churches, you name it, the Vision stops people from their busy hectic tax paying lives and takes them however momentarily to another, better place. Why me Lord, what have I ever done to deserve even one of these pleasure I know? In fact it has done it for me too.

Yah, I know! I have even had people taking pictures of my Vision when I am gassing up. Guy at an outdoor eatery yells over "Hey, is that thing a Bike or a Spaceship?" (must be a Harley guy). I yells back "I dunno. Jury is still out on that one....".

I find that whenever we go out to eat somewhere I park where I can see the bike just so I can watch people come over and look at it.

I took my girlfriend for a ride the other day. We stopped for cigarettes for her and she thought this would be a quick in and quick out... lol 20mins later, we start to ride home and she says to me as we ride, Now i understand why you are out all day when you right... You cant go anywhere without it taking 20-30 minutes. Now she wants me to park where people cant see it.. I wouldnt be shocked if she wants me to put a cycle cover over it when we park.. LOL

There should be a sticker that states the following over the key switch when you go to buy the Vision.

Warining: If you do not like meeting total strangers, answering questions about Victory (or parent company, Polaris, stock symbol PII), answering questions on the Vision and it features, demonstrating the motorized windshield, describing or physically demonstrating the tip over points, pointing out the cruise control switches, opening the mp3/iPod player area, the gas cap door, and all luggage compartments, providing the price you paid for the Vision, the location of the nearest dealer and the bikes top speed do not buy the Vision.

If purchased: You must also be kind to those who walk around your Vision when you are eating lunch. When you are asked silly things about the Vision such as "When did you steal George Jetson's bike" or "I saw this in the new Batman movie", be thoughtful in your reply since, they might really want a Vision but have to many HD tattoos to turn back now, really do not want a Vision but that is OK and everyone should ride a motorcycle that they identify with, third be embarrassed that they paid more for their HD Ultra Electra Glide but do not want to admit it or finally; go home, do research and just buy one for themselves.

That's funny, but true. When I'm all talked out, which doesn't happen much, I get a big kick out of watching people go over and look at my Vision. I went to bike night at the Harley dealer. A few at a time the HD guys wandered over to take a look. I joked with my wife the the management was going to ask me to leave. That's one of the coolest feature of the Vision over HD. If you've seen one Harley...

I was at a BMW dealership (motorcycles, not cars) on Saturday and had half the staff in the parking lot admiring the Vision while I was inside buying a vented jacket. When I came out, I spent at least 10 minutes answering questions. Sweet!

Tonight was priceless. I was parked outside of Wally-World showing a friend the Vision. Since I was parked in the stripped area by the handicap, an ederly couple pulls up next to me. The gentleman gets out quickly, whitehaired, long white beard sporting a Marine hat. He stands and admires the bike as his wife, at a much slower pace exits from the drivers seat. He had given me his admiration of the bike when she waltzes up beside him. He anticipates she is ready to continue on into the store. However, she says "Wait a minute, you got to look at it for a bit, now I want to look at it!" She stood there for a few minutes commenting on the lines and how comfortable it looked. She said she was sure it rode as smooth as it looked, which I affirmed. After she got her fill, they bidded fairly well and continued on. I'm truly blessed to have such a fine machine t

I second these thoughts, a friend and me rode our cycles down to New Orleans from Montana.  I spent more time talking about this fine machine than I did actually putting fuel into her!  It is a piece of art, first thing in a long time that appears moving when parked anywhere.  All the talking about the Vision, I am glad I bought the 2008 and didn't wait till the next one!

Same here. I was out to a Reading Phillies Game with a friend who rides a verrry pretttty springer. I have actually commented tht he is not allowed to sell it to anyone but me if the urge strikes. When we came back out to the bike parking area and started up, women of all ages started making comments like "We like yours better" and walking around the Vision and ignoring the Harley. One look at my buddy and I knew he was used to getting these comments--until now. His wife looke over and said to my girlfriend "He'll be at the Victory dealership tomorrow." I get stopped on the street and in traffic and oogled by young pretty things. But does anyone know where I can get a sign which says "American Made!"?
