Evergreen, CO | There is no Victory backrest for the 08 Vision. There is one aftermarket company, called Utopia, which makes a great backrest for the 08 Vision. I have one on mine. It took less than 1/2 hour from start to finish to install mine. Anyone should be able to perform the install on the Utopia backrest. You may want to do a search on this forum for "Utopia" and read some of the many posts regarding this backrest. As far as I know, they are the only current company offering backrests for the 08 Vision.
Victory has some additional seats available in their 2009 accessory catalog. I'm not sure if they will retrofit to the 2008 or not. I checked with my dealer last week regarding a new item offered in the 2009 Victory accessory catalog, and he told me it would be around 2 months before he would start seeing any of the new items. My vote is for Utopia though. A high quality product, a great company, great, honest people to work with, and the backrest covering perfectly matches the covering on the Vision seat. Once installed, it looks like it came that way from the factory. |

Tonopah,NV | Yes you do have to take the seat off the bike. It is very easy, 2 bolts. |

Tucson, AZ | +1 on the Utopia backrest. Did the install last week and rode about 800 miles this weekend. The thing i really like is that you are not stuck with one position on the backrest. You can reach around and turn the thumbscrew while your riding and move the backrest forward or backward and give yourself a whole bunch of seat/riding positions.
