I bounce out of field, smile at my love, jump in the saddle, put in the MP3 player....BORN TO BE WILD! Snap to Pollo, Cj, DesertJim, and Gatrixie sitting on their Visions at the "road house" that borders the field. Theydo the ZZ Top exit motion ...BORN TO BE WILD! VICTORY MOTORCYCLES, AN ALL AMERICAN RIDING MACHINE! i think that shizzle will make some ruffage, word doggies. Note to self: Go with the decafe next time.

Instead of Born to the Wild, how about Springsteen's Born in the USA?

OK, rosypalmerbeachrider, your in. Your the new camera man. (keep an eye on pollolittle) he's cool, but tends to get out of control. Just have a extra bottle of jack daniels and metallica's black album...it sooths him.

Never really got into the Metallica, maybe change it to any of the big hair bands of the 80's, Poison, Def Leppard, Ratt, Whitesnake, Twisted Sister, etc.

5 miles from nowhere
I often wondered if H-D didn't do the shortage of supply by design. It created a artificial demand for the used bikes thus keeping up their resale value. This not the case anymore, production has increased and they don't usualy resell for what they cost new. H-D has been so afraid of others copying them that there were law suits on the sound of the bike?

It seems that had not Victory produced the 6 speed transmision and 1634cc combination that H-D would still have the 5 speed 1340cc combination.

Buckeye-how can you say the economy is doing fine-HD will lay off 1100 workers and is shutting and consolidating plants. Polaris laying off about 500 workers. HD shipping about 268k units this year as opposed to 330k in 07. Housing starts down, resales down, foreclosures up -and it goes on and on.

careful 6x6 you'll dig up something that will take on a life of its own. I recall this one almost a year ago and the forum was buzzing and the friends were new. chickenman, bucky and palmrosebud, or whatever his name was back them. That was even in the days when the chickenman would pretending to be peter fondue in greasy rider.

BTW 6x6, my first real bike was the 81 CB750 Custom, loved that bike but would have love to have had the 900, man what a bike. what color is your 82? and why no miles. Let be borrow that for a few weeks and I'll bring the miles up to a respectable level.

Probie-

This post is about a year old. Prior to the economy going the route it has.

Oh...Varyder...I have an 82 CB900C that I'm going to be putting up for sale in a few monthhs, or sooner if the chance arises. Ya could relive some those days from so many years ago
