Northeastern Penna. | This is going off the topic a little on the thread of dealer invoice, but in a way it's similar.
I'm selling my 06 Yamaha VStar 1100 Silverado on ebay right now. The NADA lists it for $7600.00
Take a look, I have a bunch of extras on it and I'm selling it for $6595.00. A steal! I had a few bids
earlier in the month for $4000-$4700. People sometimes want things for next to nothing. If anyone
knows anyone looking,it's a one of a kind VStar. The only thing would be your location to Penna.

All of those "extras" you've added do not add much to the selling price if at all. You'd be better to take them off and sell the bike as stock and list the parts on Ebay the way it came. You'll get more money. |

Ruskin, Fl | I had 27,000 miles on my '06 V-star 1100 Silverado. I got $5700 on a trade (what I owed). I took a beating on the pipes, big air kit, linbey bars.... BUT, I rode my Vision home that day. No regrets. Kelly Blue Book lists retail as $6500 and trade in as $4550. |

Rockford, IL | I'm a very long time Ebay user with a feedback over 400+. I've recently sold two bikes and to be honest I had a lot better response using Craigslist than I did with Ebay. Listed both bikes on Ebay and got a lot of bullcrap bids, relisted them three times and the bidding was nowhere near what I wanted.
Friend of mine suggested giving Craigslist a shot. Listed and sold both bikes within four days. I took $100 lower price on one and $350 lower on the other. Not bad at all....considering that Craigslist is free. No shipping...no risk of dealing with a bad buyer...no Ebay fees. True, I had to spend a bit of time showing the bikes to possible buyers. But it was worth it. |

Fargo, ND | I found the same result with Craigs List. I had a Kawasaki Quad for sale...put it on Craigs list and it was Gone! Worked great for me. |
