Bonita Springs, FL | I have a full cover but am looking for a partial cover when traveling and just stop for lunch, etc. Has anyone purchased anything that will work with the tour edition. I had one for my Ultra Classic but it won't work on the Vision. |

San Antonio, TX United States | I ordered the fitted half cover from Victory when i ordered my bike. If you dont have the CB, the cover tucks away nicely in the small compartment under the trunk. |

Richmond, Virginia | The absolute BEST cover is a GEEZA Cover. Ive owned one for every bike Ive owned. they breathe, they stretch in all directions, and they ball up to a size that you can tuck almost anywhere. I tow the bikes with Geeza covers on them. check it out it is well worth the price and since they stretch they will fit every bike. also, you can machine wash them and toss them in the dryer and the dryer

Ma. | I have the Victory Vision Full and Half (Travel) Covers. I like both of them them. The full cover to cover my bike at work and the Travel Cover for trips. Both fit great and the travel cover keeps the bike clean and folds small enough not to take up any real storage space.

Sure the link is on topic, but why does he insist on changing the topic line whenever he posts was my question.
In this case the topic title is "Half rain cover"
With his post the the banner of topic was changed to "here you go....and it's decently priced to"
I already looked at this topic, and it had no interest to me, but when I saw the fake new title; I thought it was something new

Buffalo Grove,Ill | Im not 100% sure that changing the subject line really hijacked the thread or not. One thing i did do is click the link, after doing so i hit the "contact us" link and asked them where all the Victory products were. Looked like all HD stuff to me. |

New Bohemia, VA | gentlemen, the functionality of the site to allowing changing the subject in midstream shouldn't create such a stir. I guess I shouldn't butt in, and my sincere apologies, but it something the poster is free to do at anytime in any thread.
with that, thanks for the post it has given me some ideas on what to do when I'm on the road. Most of the time it is out in the air, regardless of the weather. At home she's covered.

Rockford, IL | Changing the subject line within a thread doesn't change the main (or orginal) subject line that is seen the main General Discusion forum. But it does change what is seen when New Threads are clicked. This is when it becomes a bit of a "why does Smitty do this to me" type thing  True, not really to much of any issue. But why do it in the first place? oh yea...sorry for the hijack  |

I wonder if that is starting to be a Vision thing, I shined mine up back before Christmas much to the shegrin of my wifey unit, but she's gotten use to it now. |

We should probably stop annoying Smitty and post this as a separate thread - may see if the manufacturer of the Vision cover can do something for the folicly challenged.

New Bohemia, VA | Aaaa, Smitty's got a great sense of humor one that he can laugh at himself if need be. Outspoken, to say the least, but he's one of the few outspoken folk on here that I look to hear his words of wisdom. I discern this from his resourcefulness that folks don't often understand, I have that problem a lot, until they realize that something wasn't such a bad idea after all, it just wasn't their idea. Keeping with the theme, and not changing the subject line I might add, I'm cheap when it comes to these covers, as the one I'm now using only cost me $30.00 at Pep Boys and for a good reason. One it covers the bike very well, and I made my own hole for the antenna. Two, when I touch the pipe and burn a hole in it, like I did last night, I don't fret it that I just burned up a $200.00 cover. But with that, I also recall Pep Boys has a cheap thin half cover as well, but there again, it wouldn't touch the pipes so, I would take the more durable one for the greater peso. As for the pilot's chrome dome, I use a durag and keep plenty on hand especially in the summer time. It keeps out helmet funk longer by changing often. I have a good cache of bandana's as well, the best tool a biker can have, in case I can't find a durag.

20 miles west of Chicago. | Here's a poser.. Does anybody know of a half-cover for travel that is compact and actually waterproof? I took a Nelson-Rigg full nylon cover to the VICTOG meet in Nashville last year because of the long range rain forecast, and rain it did. Every morning I pulled the "water resistant" cover off, then had to wipe the water off the seat, dash and windshild. The bike was as wet as if there had been no cover at all. I'd like to at least keep the top half dry in overnight rains. |

New Bohemia, VA | Hey mudge, I guess the question would be was there a lot of humidity and warmth? I covered mine with the full cover and it sets outside. I've found it to be wet underneath only because of the moisture out of the ground rose and formed on the inside. |

I have only been using it for 5 months, and it is still keeping my bike dry and clean (at least, above the pipes which it doesn't touch or get burned). Don't other Vision dealers sell Vision covers? With the Victory Vision emblem on the front and sides? Like the one in my Gallery photos? |

New Bohemia, VA | West VAncover Don I don't think there's anything wrong with that half Vision cover and I plan on getting that one if any, from Victory. I use a full cover and I"m too quick to put the cover on since it is cold out and when I get done at night I'm ready to go in and stay in. If I don't watch it I'll burn the cover on the right side pipes. Now if I put it on right, I usually avoid that problem, but I get lazy and do a swing over to cover up the console to keep the moisture out there, then it will drape over and touch the pipe unknowingly. But yes, that rain cover seems to be a nice compliment for on the road at the hotel and the Vision is covered by you know there's Victory under there. |
