Exharley,
A center stand is something that people need when they dont own a lift or are to old to get the bike off of the side stand. lol

Hey....I'm still trying to get my wife on my Vision. These other options sound pretty cool too!

Hey Rebel,

I do need to work on the mirrors. I remember a thread awhile back about them. I'll do that next weekend that I have free (hysterical laugh can be heard...)

I've done some fiddling with the mirrors lately too. I need to pull them down. My hands are mostly out of the way and I have a good view of what's behind me.

Thanks for the suggestions.

Relocate that hazard switch and ALL lighting controls to the handlebars. Having to take your hands off the grips and fumble the dash IS a hazard. Just think about rolling up on a hazard and having to take your hands off the controls and your eyes off the road. I always try to use my hazards when I have to slow way down for a "hazard". Something I learned from watching truckers (professional drivers) on the road. I have yet to see a problem from over using the hazard lights. I've only used them once on this bike when the rain came pouring down hard and I ended up flipping up all the toggles to make same sure I had it right. I slapped the front of the dash , over the GPS until I seen the them working. I use them all the time on my other vehicles and as soon as possible. The hazard lights aren't just for being broke down! If not relocating the switches, at least light them so they can be identified at night in a hurry. Handgrips, auxillaries, hazards, and HID all look the same in the dark.

1) If Victory can't swing the Bluetooth, then I'd like to see a way to get audio & mic into & out of the console. If I have the proper headphone/mic jacks, I can buy my own damn WiRevo and bluetooth everything to my helmet. The inputs could be for my MP3 player, an FRS radio or a CB band walkie talkie. Just give me the I/O.

2) A kickstand extension would be a good aftermarket accessory.

3) More lights on the trunk

4) More adjustability in the pillion floorboards... or perhaps an adjustable footpeg accessory (saw this on American Thunder last night).

5) Rider backrest option a la utopia.

6) A Ram-style mount so I can use a handheld GPS/Cell phone/MP3 player or whatever. Thwe Vision has funky shaped handlebars for which Ram does not have a clamp.

Piddling things, really.... but the devil is always in the details.

Better and bigger bags. I've heard that Polaris is well aware of luggage issues and lack of useable space and will be changing the bags in 2010 to improve that.

A way to mount a tank bag similar to BMW's mounting system. With that, maybe the bags wouldn't be such a detriment.

Smaller overall fairing. It's too wide for my storage area in the winter. Same size as HD Ultra will work just fine.

More adjustability in the mirrors...and how about powered mirrors w/auto dimming.

Traction control.

Bikes that actually work from day one without any number of issues. Better supply chain management and better quality control at the plant.

Seat color choices. Brown, gray, black.

More ability to individualize your bike....how about if you're willing to pay for a certain color not offered, Polaris will put it on for a fee. I'd be willing to pay to get the color I want.

Like others...a better radio.

OH......and a powered centerstand like BMW has.

Stereo bluetooth connection for all the toys

Build in a friggin garage door opener in the middle of all those console buttons

Optional ABS

Add a compass to the electronics

Move the tip overs back.

Rethink the radio antenna.

Intercom should be standard on a $23K bike.

Better clearcoat.

Some type of pillion floorboard change to allow for the taller riders like my wife.

Adjustable clutch lever reach.

+1....I would love to have an adjustable clutch lever similar to the adjustment on the front brake lever.

I'm not real picky, but I'd like to see Victory become the FIRST manufacturer to release a TOUR bike with a factory hitch. The bike has almost everything you'd want in a tour bike so why force owners to pull half the rear end off to install a hitch?
Oh and the keyless proximity fob ignition would be GREAT.

They have a cup holder made for the Vision that uses a ram ball mount. Perhaps you could use another ram ball mount accessory to secure the additional options, gps/cell phone/mp3 player that you like.

LARGER thumb controls. In cold weather, the thicker gloves makes it harder to hit the right button. I.E. cruise control, decel, etc.

Heat for the passengers back. (butt heat isn't enough)
Compressor to adjust back end load.
Wider windshield

Power centerstand just like the Beemer LT's have.

Push a button it goes down.

Put the bike in gear, it goes up.

Less weight.

Better radio reception.

XM/Sirus standard equipment.

Easier to use buttons.

More power.

Liquid cooling.

Ceramic coated exhaust to keep heat down.

Easier trunk removal.

Bigger bags.

Tank bag system just like Beemers have.

Heated backrest for passenger.

Factory backrest for rider. Heated and easy on and off.

Beer chiller.

I have overcome many of the want I have for the bike. I have a Utopia back rest, did the electronics, hooked up the horse power, but I can't get ABS. That is one thing that will make me trade up for a newer Vision, hopefully it will come in SSG. I would like to see the Hazard switch moved to within thumbs reach, and be able to adjust the clutch lever. I think I know a guy, who knows a guy, that heard of a guy that can fix the clutch lever issue, so I might be able to scratch that one in the near future.

The radio in the future should be able to receive the High Definition Radio (HDRadio) signals. Better reception for the radio, External antenna for the trunk and license plate. The radio should display RDS data of the music.

Official iPod support from Apple including 5 volt and 3.3 volt charging.

ABS

Arm Rests for the Tour Pack.

Adjustable Clutch

Ride safe!

Everyone has done such a nice job I don't have much to say:

Can't believe from a safety standpoint that they didn't make the truck lights tie into the signal system.

A center stand would be nice of oil changes.

Keyless control for all of the locks...had it on my BMW and didn't realize how nice it was to walk away from the bike...hit the key faub...and hear all the locks activate.

Otherwise everyone else has covered the rest...and it would great to make it more convientent to adjust the shocks..."what if you pick up a hottie" and do two up riding and no air is near by?

P.S. Had ABS on my BMW and it was so touchy people would dump the bike...linked is my better for slow speed riding.

I'd like a set of passenger boards with swing out / up pegs to let her stretch her legs.
Kuryakyn makes "Transformer" floor boards for the gl1800 and "Switchblades' for some others.

http://www.kuryakyn.com/index.cfm/go/Home.Products/catID/3/scID/69

they also make an adjustable passenger peg for Harley

http://www.kuryakyn.com/index.cfm/go/Home.ProductDetail/catID/10/sc...

They tell me they have not seen enough interest form Vision riders to make anything for us.
