Hey All

Just wondering if anyone has made any attempts to cover the panel directly ahead of the seat. I was thinking of covering it in order to prevent scratching it with the buckle of my jacket.

I have  taken the panel to my local leather shop who said that he could cover it, however, would have to glue the leather onto the panel. I am not crazy about having anything glues to the panel.

Has anyone tried this, if so, what did you do and how did it work out? Are there pics?

Thanks

are you referring to the triangle panel just above the front of the seat, or the center console containing the switches/stereo/ignition etc.

I had mine covered with 3M clear film. The dealer guaranteed removal of the film later will not ruin the paint. I also had the gas lid and the glove box lid done. It looks great.

Its the panel in front of the forward part of the seat.
